We love coming to all the trails here. So much wildlife and wildflowers to see. Our kids have a lot of fun everytime we come too. Most trails are kid, wheelchair and stroller friendly.
Enjoyable short walk in the heart of the city. The boardwalk can be muddy and messy so wear proper attire. Better for bikers. Love all the metro park trails and I am excited to do more exploring.
A great place to take your children, or your little Batman or Batgirl. You can come for a walk or a ride. The real point is to enjoy your walk and feel the outdoors with your family and friends. The area is clean and patrol officers are near for help and your safety. There are several different slides in the area and the lower area leads to a long bike trail.
The scenic path is amazing. If you want to take a great journey, learn some history about the canal, and appreciate what this virtually untouched plot of land has to offer. You will not be disappointed.
Beautiful path for biking and running with great views of the city. Great restaurants, bars, and coffee shops near the path downtown and near Tremont area
If you want to walk or run on a paved trail this is a nice pick. If you park at Canal Way Center (stop in if it's open) this is a great selection. A small hill up or down leads to the paved trail that runs parallel to the Ohio & Erie Canal. Heading right just over the bridge will take you to some views of the Cuyahoga River and some of the local industry both old and out of use and new and in use. There is a great bridge out about 1.3 miles where you can often spot a Blue Heron, fish, deer and frogs when the spring arrives. There are a few side paths to find and explore.
I walked the trails around the Canalway visitor center, including the Blue Heron Boardwalk. It's in kind of an urban/industrial area and can be loud when trains are passing high overhead, but if you like trains, it adds to the fun. The Boardwalk covers a very small area but I found it well worth the short walk to edge my way through tall, dense cattails, see the beautiful water lilies, and enjoy the birdsong.
Great place to bring you children. Although this learning center is closed for now, still a great place walk and hike. Can access the Towpath from here. Also have a bike and hike there. Porta-Potty on-site

Out on an adventure with the family and drove across this beautiful scenery. Not much picnic area but lots of parking and a beautiful view and a lighthouse out in the distance as well
What an iconic landmark..so much rich history surrounding the sights. Make sure to chat with the locals and don't be afraid to ask a stranger to take your picture!!
Love this spot. I keep our Northern Inuit dog on a 100 ft lead and let her run off her energy! There's plenty of parking and a big field. Also you can access the walking path or cut through down to the river.
The area is across from West Side Market and has many benches and trees. It is very clean and feels safe. It is close to coffee shops, book stores and restaurants.
Super nice metaphysical store with a healthy collection of crystals that I have not seen anywhere else. The owner was really helpful and knowledgeable. I loved this store and I would definitely visit again when I am in the Tremont area of Cleveland.

My first visit here was great. The people are dope and welcoming and the vibe was legit. Front desk was super caring and streamlined my registration. I took a look around to get the lay of the land. I noticed the bathrooms were kept clean and neat.

This building is stunning. The inside is even better. We came for The Archive but stayed for the rest. So much literature here. You could spend years going through everything. So much history. Old pictures of Cleveland back in the day on display. A n
The Bake Shop, a.k.a. the Roaming Biscuit, is an excellent takeout breakfast spot with a great vibe. Although primarily takeout, there is a small wood paneled room next to the counter area with a scattering of tables and chairs where you can enjoy yo
We had a lovely ground floor view near the harpist for this year's last Christmas Concert of the season. To be honest, you cannot put a review on the world's finest orchestra - their ability to bring joy, peace, and wonder no matter what composers cr
Cool coffee shop with nice vibe. Coffee was very good, I had americano. Did not try any of the specialty drinks or food. Service was very friendly and quick. There is a pretty large seating area inside and a couple chairs outside when it's nicer. Wil
