OHANA Waikiki East by OUTRIGGER - Hotel in Honolulu - 150 Kaʻiulani Ave, USA

A really enjoyable stay. The new rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. Our family of four had a room with two beds and a couch which was a nice sized room for our stay. The pool area again is new and not crowded at all. Bit of construction going on, but didn't effect us. We would definitely stay here again. We're currently staying in another hip style supposedly renovated hotel a block away as Ohana wasn't available for these nights, and we are really missing the Ohana. Even our kids asked if we could go back to Ohana.

customer service was the best! everyday we had the pleasure of walking past Jessie Angie Melissa and jacob and they where the best, and the sweetest! they take the time out of their day to talk to you! the room was so nice with a stunning view! we enjoyed it very much. and recommend to others! sasha cleaned out room and was the sweetest! we where always so happy to walk into a nice clean room! thank you ohana for a wonderful stay.

We were celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary with family from NZ, Australia, and Seattle. We were provided with excellent service, especially by our housekeeper Sasha. We are a messy family with teenage boys, and she did an amazing job even when my sons brought back half the beach.|The reception staff were also great in assisting us with a room change, and the pool attendant was so welcoming and kind. Despite the chaos of the current renovations, all the staff were professional and helpful.

This is a great place to stay! There is some renovation going on, however this didn’t affect our stay at all once we figured the elevator situation out. The location is perfect, being one street off of the main strip makes getting a car in and out of the parking garage a lot easier. Walking to the beach, the beachfront outrigger and great restaurants is a breeze from here as well. Where this place really shines is the personnel from the desk staff to our awesome host Shu Wen, who always had our room in perfect shape when we returned every day and always greeted us with a smile. Our room 730 was great, probably not the best room they have to offer either, as it is sorta tucked in behind a elevator and probably smaller than most, but it was perfect for my wife and I and served us well for over a week. Would definitely stay here in the same room again.

This property is currently going through a major renovation. Figuring out the elevator situation was at first a little confusing after a long day of travel. My recommendation would be, better temporary signage. I would not let this discourage me from visiting again during their renovation as this is a very nice hotel. |The location is perfect, a little off the main drag in Waikīkī making it a lot easier to get on and off the street and into the garage, yet a very short walk to the beach or sister property with really good restaurants. |The beds were comfortable and the room was always very clean during our 9 day stay. Shu Wen a very sweet and personable lady our 7th floor host, was very proficient and had our room in top shape every day. The front desk area is temporary due to the current renovation, yet the personnel here more than make up for that as they are proficient and accommodating.

Great location, close to everything in Waikiki. Undergoing a renovation, so there’s a temporary lobby. Housekeeping staff was great, kept room clean and respected privacy. Pool area is a good size, kept clean and staffed. Fitness center is well equipped. Reasonable parking garage prices. I would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed for a week in Ohana East. The staff were all nice and friendly so we could have a wonderful time in Hawaii. Especially one of the receptionists Angie was the best. She was always full of hospitality. We arrived in Hawaii in the late morning and from the airport directly went to the hotel to keep our baggage. She understood our fatigue and was kind enough to ask the house keeper to get ready for our room in a rush while we were eating lunch! Thanks to her we could be relaxed at a brand new room with an ocean view after lunch and went swimming at the beach in the evening! Thank to Angie we could make the most of our first day. |My daughter went to English school there and she always encouraged her and tried to give her confidence. My daughter got to really like her. Thank you Angie!||The house keeping lady Xi Li was moderate and smiled at us every time we met her. She offered us a comfortable room every day. I appreciate it. ||The hotel is located a few minutes away from beach and a market. So convenient! There was no laundromat but I went to Outrigger Waikiki to do my laundry. Even under the construction we swam in a brand new swimming pool and enjoyed our stay 100 %. Thank you for everything. ||I will definitely stay at Ohana East again next time in Hawaii!

Clean comfortable room. The building had construction but it didn’t bother us. Everything in our room looked new. Close to everything we needed to be near. The hvac system makes a nice consistent sound that was great white noise and helped us sleep.
