For the price of two plates I would have expected a higher quality food. Especially with all the high reviews. The teriyaki chicken is over cooked and steamed. The short ribs were steamed as well. They dont use an actual fire grill. The flavor is okay. As far as the restaurant itself. It is pretty dirty and hot. I definitely was not impressed by any of the food.

I love this chain Hawaiian bbq spot and always stop by for their spam musubi’s. The musubi’s were delicious and I got them super easy easy rice. I’d definitely come back again and just be aware that parking is busy during peak times but worth the wait. Id definitely come back for their other menu items.

I think this was a bad day. Ordered the ribs w macaroni and rice cost 17 dollars and change. .and a chicken bowl 7 dollars and change..eeeeeeeeeesh...the ribs were sooooo chewy and undercooked. Had no flavor...gross...I picked out a rotten carrot. Uuuuugh...the ribs were overpriced and were horribly prepared. The pic w the meat alone was chewed up and spat out...couldn't break it down..lol Almost forgot...what's that awfully smell inside...like rotten chicken

I've visited here numerous times, and will keep coming back. The food here is cooked to perfection and I can pretty much guarantee you won't leave here hungry. You get hearty portions of food here. Plus the employees have been very courteous and helpful with the various menu items. The place is clean and workers make periodic rounds keeping it clean. It's a pretty big menu so no doubt you will find something to liking. I had the chicken and fish on my last visit and you get rice and macaroni salad. You also get sauces to go along with the fish and chicken--excellent dipping sauces. The meats were cooked to perfection and the sides were also great. This place is located at the northeast corner of Riggin St and Atlantic Bl. If you happen to be in the Atlantic Square, you will have to park to the north or east as the restaurant is at the very property edge/corner. I rate this place a solid five stars for great food and service.

Don't come here there food is nasty. It's taste like 2 days old food and the restroom is dirty and doesn't lock. The Restaurant is dirty. The Manager is a not professional and rude a hole. So is the girl who's working there Kayla isn't professional very rude.

First time ordering from here, last time ordering from here. Called and spoke to Kayla (who was very helpful, polite, and made sure my request was honored. She's the only reason why I gave a 5 star review for service) to make changes to my order due to my wife's food allergy and she was very helpful in accommodating my request. The 1 star is for the food. Ordered thru Doordash the 2 Seafood BBQ combo with Chicken and I must say I was very, very, very disappointed. Mac salad was warm. It was very, very, overwhelmed with mayonaise (which made it too gross to eat). Shrimp and fish didn't taste fresh and had a weird, garlicky taste and smell which was gross as well. Chicken was very chewy not grilled and looked undercooked and some pieces looked a little pink. Tried to get a refund from Doordash but they refused. Total, total waste of money. And to end this review both my wife and I stomach feels queasy. Took me years to try this place and I wish now I would have kept away as I have been for many years.

Yum! The chicken katsu curry was delicious and so satisfying. The katsu is crispy, the curry is flavorful, the Mac salad is the perfect accent. You can ask for the curry on the side if you prefer. Pricing was a great value. Definitely will come back next time I’m craving Hawaiian food.

Not everyones taste is the same and this is only my opinion, but the food was ok. The service was good, just felt very old and greasy inside, the grease smell made the experience not that great. The food was good though.
