O'Haire Inn - Featured Reviews (381)
This nostalgic hotel in Great Falls is getting renovated. The rooms are being updated. Ours was very clean, was decent sized, and we enjoyed our stay. The people at the front desk were awesome. Overall, enjoyed our time here.
If you drive a taller vehicle, like a truck, you’ll have to park in the lower lot, you won’t have enough clearance in the upper lot. I stayed here on a federal holiday and weekday, Monday (Labor Day). The lounge and swimming pool were closed. I get that, so I did not get to experience those things unfortunately. My review comes solely from the Inn itself. The rooms are older but for the most part clean! I had to lint roll my sheets because of hair.. With the hotel being older I will say the walls are thin and you can hear pretty much everything. Others alarms going off and doors opening/closing. I will be staying here again when the lounge is open on a weekend. I’m sure after I have a few drinks in me I won’t mind any noise. 😂 The complimentary duck idea is awesome and the free breakfast at the restaurant was great. If you do stay here, keep all of your valuables with you. I feel like my car would have been broken into if someone saw anything in it.
EDIT *Stayed here again today and everything was phenomenal. No hair on the sheets, it was nice and quiet and I got to experience the lounge!*
This is a hotel built in the 60s, and well maintained by the family, who has tried to keep the ambiance of when it was built, while modernizing the room amenities to some extent. Very comfortable rooms, but be sure to ask for one with a desk in you need one, since they don't all have desks for workspace. The great feature of the Inn is the lounge, which is like a throwback to the Tiki bars of Hawaii in the 60s. It is beautiful. And behind the bar is glass into the pool, where mermaids swim every night. Well worth a visit just to see this. Breakfast is included, and the food is good. Well worth a visit if you are in Great Falls, Montana. I went in July, and will be staying again in August on my way home.
Not just a room an experience! The renovated retro rooms are perfect! From the housekeeping lights to the comfy beds! Simplicity, great room rate, secure parking, super clean… the friendliness, the mermaids, the drinks and the over the top food. Make sure you’re hungry!!|The Sip n Dip is laid out that you talk to|Your neighbors, share a couple stories while sipping and watching the mermaid show!
Personally I'm thinking that they have a problem with the heat control with the boiler system or the air circulation system we stopped here for two different stays in a two week period. One room was super hot but we were able to control it by keeping the blower fan off and opening the window. The next stay the unit only pumped cold air to the room and it took a couple complaint trips to the front desk before they gave us an industrial grade space heater to stay warm for our stay.
GREAT place to stay! My room was very clean and well-kept. Restaurant was VERY good, service was a bit slow but I seemed to arrive during the dinner crush, so no biggie. My only complaint would be $23 for a double Grand Marnier upstairs at the bar, that quickly dissuaded me from staying long in the bar. I've drank at some upscale places and never paid more than $15 for the same call. This was offset however by the FRIENDLIEST front desk staff ever! Would definitely stay again.
If you want to have the most memorable experiences, great food, friendly people and comfy bed, do not stay anywhere in Great Falls Montana but Ohair Inn! I won’t even mention the great room rate and free restaurant breakfast (eggs to order, pancakes, waitress service) because that’s the least of it. The Sip’n Dip Mermaid show in the bar was super fun! It’s not Disney, that’s what makes it so cool! The Mermaid really entertained and how easy can that be from underwater? The restaurant meals (Homestyle Roast Beef Open Faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and corn for me, Turkey with same and cranberry for him) are just like Mom used to make. We stayed in several chain hotels on this trip through the Great Plains because we tended to get in late and get out early. At Ohair, we wanted to stay an extra day just because it was so much fun! (We didn’t, but next time!!)
Recently stayed here to and from a destination…couldn’t get a better service and a reasonable price. NOW…I want to know what brand of sheets are on the beds..paper thing and so comfortable! Thank you
The staff here are just fantastic! I can't say enough good things about these folks. Kathy is just so sweet and really looked out for me when I stayed for a week! The weekday morning gal in the kitchen works so hard and the breakfast is free. She sho
The hotel is very clean and the pool is beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It's close to the airport and close to a shopping area that includes a grocery store, movie theater, book store and clothing stores.
