I had a pleasant experience here despite not enjoying my dessert. The employees were friendly, but unfortunately the cake in a jar was disappointing--very sweet yet not tasty. For the cost I would sooner go to the Whole Foods bakery. I would nonetheless return and try one of the brigadeiros since that's their namesake.
We bought a vegan dessert that was said to be maid from almond milk, coconut and chocolate. We asked if it was sweet since I cannot have sugar and the employee there said it wasn’t. We tried to get a general explanation on what we were getting, but her English wasn’t good enough so we bought it anyways. We got a liquid chocolate with A LOT of sugar that you can literally see. It also had a strange aftertaste and was generally bad. We asked them to get something else but they didn’t have neither alternative milk for coffee nor any other vegan dessert so we asked for a refund. The manager said that it wasn’t possible to get it right away but promised to call us and let us know when it’s done (we waited there for very long as well). 12 hours after and we still haven’t gotten our money back. Will not return.

I ordered a tres leches cake with very long time in advance, at the last minute the day I needed the cake they called me to say they couldn’t make the tres leches and that the cake that was ready to pick up was Nutella with chocolate. This is disrespectful to customers, not even offer me a discount, I had to take that cake because there was no time but that was not what we wanted at all. Besides this the cake was not good!! VERY BAD SERVICE!!!
