OFF THE HOOK FISH & SEAFOOD - Seafood restaurant in Swainsboro - 846 W Main St, USA

I was craving fish and it's not easy to find in Swainsboro. I found this place and let them know it was my first time. The girl was quick to offer both menus they had and offered many suggestions and specials. I got the fish and shrimp with cheese grits, fried okra and hush puppies. The cook made sure I was taken care of and asked if wanted condiments and asked if I would try it before adding sauces. OMG ya'll I actually called the place and told them how good it was. (And I didn't use the sauce.) The hush puppies were so good, the fish was seasoned perfectly with a great batter (not heavy) and the shrimp were big. Both ladies were all smiles and friendly! I'll definitely be back!

just recently move to midville georgia from south carolina. first time trying shrimp basket & tilapia. they cook it fresh, so if you in hurry better order ahead. seasoning perfect, shrimp juicy, and fries also delicious . price is fair, for shrimp basket 5$.

This place is off the chain. Just a little wagon on wheels cooking up a mess of seafood that is off the chain ⛓️. I think they still have indoor seating in the store beside, you'll have to ask the owners. Fresh cooked, and the place is clean and immaculate.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite and I'm so glad I did! My catfish and tilapia combo with the sweet potato fries, hushpuppies, and that homemade coleslaw was on point! I washed it down with some ice cold strawberry lemonade, but the icing on the cake was the banana pudding!! OMG it's out of this world DUHLUSHUS! Do yourself a favor and get OFF THE HOOK! 🙌

We are camping in the area and wanted a real meal. This place had great reviews and I can see why. That might be the best slaw I've ever had. Green beans can often be just a so-so side but these were dressed up with the right seasoning to make them special. So often fish and shrimp are ruined by the oil they carry to the table. Not so here. Her recipes are worthy of note. This lady could be going places. I just wish it was my town. I hope to be back soon.

They have just a little hut that you walk up to the window and order your food. I get the fried cat fish dinner. It’s super delicious, it’s always hot and fresh because they cook your food to order. A must try when you’re in small town Swainsboro!

Food was delicious and worth the drive! Catfish & shrimp w/potatoe salad and sweet potatoe fries. Strawberry lemonade was delicious and refreshing! Thank you 😏🍽️

Stopped in on our way to Carnesville. I had the sautéed shrimp and fish and my sis had catfish. Everything was prepared fresh and was delicious! Sweet potato fries, hush puppies and fried okra were amazing. Nothing was greasy. All the staff were very friendly and kind. She even left us her phone Playlist so we had music while dining!
