Off The Chain - Restaurant in Eagle River - 3310 WI-70, USA

We spent the week up north in Eagle River and happened upon this delightful restaurant. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Our server helped us review Off The Chain's most popular menu items and suggested their specialty house made cocktails. We met up with a few other couples and had an amazing dinning experience. The owner came by the table as a hospitality check and was very genuine in their gratitude for our patronage. A friend ordered the black and blue salad, which he very much enjoyed and ordered a sampling of coconut shrimp, walleye, and salmon. All were delicious! Although we were completely satisfied with our meal, the desserts sounded too good not to try, so we shared a spiked ice cream treat. Make sure to mention this off the menu dessert at Off the Chain. We hope to return on our next visit. Thanks so much for the great meal.

This is a great place to meet up with family and friends for a tasty meal. Whether you're looking for a traditional favorite or something a little unusual, Off the Chain has something to please every palate. The menu is approachable with some unique twists. Thanks to owner/chef Justin and staff for making us feel at home with you! We hope to be back soon.

This was a very pleasant surprise. Service, food and atmosphere was top notch for being up north. I will be coming back for more old fashions and the not on menu chocolate peanut butter ice cream delight. Justin, Natalie and Matt are the best!

Off The Chain has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Eagle River! The Creamy Onion Soup is a must! Prime Rib is fabulous!! You can’t go wrong with the fish fry. Southwest salad is great if you’d prefer something on the lighter side. And the Old Fashions are great too! This is much more than just a “small plates” place. We always look forward to coming back!

I came here with my family. It was this evening. We called in to make sure they were open. We sat at the bar and had an amazing bartender and server, Celeste. I am very sure I will misspelled her name. We got the blackberry old fashioned and the Leinenkugel beer. Absolutely delicious old fashioned. We ordered different food, and all was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. We got the ‘Charred Beef Poutine’, ‘Lobster Arancini’, ‘Cilantro Lime Glazed Tuna’, Pork Chop with Squash Purée, and Creamy French Onion soup. Holy moly, the soup was delish! The chef/owner is so sweet and friendly. Adore this place. Call in for a reservation or check if they are open. They are open on Tuesday to Saturday. Not sure about the hours.

We enjoy this place- the food, friends, and fellowship happening at Off The Chain. Highly recommended! We especially enjoy the black and blue salad, fish and chips, and Nashville chicken sliders. Oh, and you must try the boozy ice cream drinks! Many locals and tourists come by on snowmobiles to warm up with a warm meal. Thank you Justin and team.

My family of 10 went for dinner on a Monday evening and we enjoyed it so much! The food and the service was top-notch. Colin was our server and he knew what we needed before we asked! We had three older kids with us who enjoyed their elevated kid meals. The seven adults enjoyed the many small plate/shareable offerings and had great main meals. The old fashioneds were also fabulous! We had lobster aronchini, the tuna, filet Oscar, maple glazed pork chops, honey garlic ribs, Nashville hot chicken sliders, truffle parmesan fries and the amazing creamy French onion soup! The salads were also great. All in all, we had a wonderful meal and experience. The location and ambiance of the restaurant itself is not anything special, but the food and the service is. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little more special and deliciously executed in the Northwoods! Let’s keep this gem open!

We frequent this establishment often. Always delicious food and excellent service. Our favorites are the tuna and Nashville chicken sliders, but to be honest, all the items on the menu are fantastic! Don’t forget to order a martini! You won’t be disappointed 😄
