OdySea Aquarium - Aquarium in Scottsdale - 9500 East Vía de Ventura Suite A-100, USA

Was some much fun with lots, to see. There are a few interactive things for the kids. They have a few experience on the weekend, so if you would like to dive with some string rays or hang with some penguins, make sure you go on the week. This was a little bummer as we went on a Friday, and these were not available. They end the hole thing with a fun ride like exhibited. Staff was amazing as the power had gone out during our ride, and let us come back in to finish when the power came back on. We spent just o er 3 hours enjoying everything.

Went to the Aquarium with my family that includes 8 and 11 year old boys and they LOVED it. The kids couldn’t stop running from tank to tank. Odysea has some VERY cool species that I have never seen before that I enjoyed a lot even as an adult. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they had a few exhibits closed to the public including the touch pool. Also the escalators were down so we didn’t get to descend through the glass tank tunnel and had to wind our way through office space to get between the levels. Nothing that could have been done about this on their end I’m sure, but it did take away from the overall experience. Either way I highly recommend going. And it is cheaper if you go after 4:00.

Lots of different marine wildlife to view here. They have VR movies you can watch, a Starbucks inside and stingrays you can touch. Lots of things for the kids to do. Lots of amazing fish to see. They have alligators and sharks to see. They have a mobile fish tank ride that you can see some really stunning marine creatures in the different tanks that you spin and see. They also have Penguins! You can watch through a glass tunnel to see fish swimming all around you as well! Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

What a great & family-friendly aquarium. The layout is excellent, affording the maximum number of people a great view of so many exhibits! The girls loved the otters, penguins, sloths, butterflies, and sharks. There is so much to see and do, I don't think you can possibly experience it all in just one weekend. The butterflies are not to be missed, I definitely recommend adding that to your ticket, it's so worth it. We rode the undersea adventure ride and really enjoyed the individual talks by the marine biologist caretakers. There is plenty to do, see, and eat, and it is perfect for families.

We love coming to this aquarium. Lots to see and the kids normally have fun. During this visit, there were some closures. Some attractions were under maintenance. Even the escalator that takes you straight through the aquarium was down for the weekend. I understand repair and outages, but we should have received a small discount for the closures. We had to walk most of the stairs because the elevator was usually full. Tough with the kids this time. - EDIT 1/22/24 The specific closures were the escalators for both the entrance and exits, one of the touch tide pools, and the moving escalator that takes you through an exhibit of sharks and rays. This is one of the major attractions for this location. I have responded to Odyssey via email and the reason for the closures is being discussed. Again, awesome aquarium! Wish were notified about the closures before hand. Thank you for responding

Definitely deserves the best bathroom award! We did not get to see the sea lions on our visit, but all the other displays were great. The escalators were broken also, so we had to climb up and down various stairs. There is an elevator available for wheelchairs or strollers, etc. Nice way to spend a free day.

Beautiful aquarium and lots to do for the littles. My son loved all the animals as well as the activities. They have a water and sand table. He really enjoyed the video of the whales as well.

We enjoyed the OdySea Aquarium for 3 + hours with friends. Each exhibit had detailed descriptions. The hands-on (sting rays) exhibit was amazing. The staff was knowledgeable & friendly. The revolving theater was awesome. The octopus back scratch was fun to watch. We could've spent the entire day there. Amazing place to see while in the AZ desert.
