Decent sushi spot. Inside is very spacious. The rolls are good. Prices are very reasonable. They also have happy hour specials. Good place to come in for some sushi rolls, beer, and sake. Service is good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the pay structure nearby.

When you’re tired of Thanksgiving food, or just craving bomb sushi, then I’ve got the place for you! 😍🍣🙏🏽 Octopus (located in Glendale & Burbank) is a Japanese restaurant serving up fresh seafood, meats, and produce. It’s a casual and fun vibe, but the dishes are high end (I mean look at the presentation of this Yellowtail Sashimi🔥). I went for happy hour and here’s everything I enjoyed (cost included) ⬇️: 🌺 Yellowtail Sashimi - $12.95 🍣 Tempura Roll - $8.95 🍹 Lychee Breeze Cocktail - $13.95 for a carafe 🍜 Tonkotsu Ramen - $13.95 🫛 Garlic Chili Edamame - $4.50 I loved all of the flavors that were incorporated into each dish. They charge an additional 25 cents to add spice to the ramen and it was just what the pork broth needed. Overall, it was a nice experience and I will definitely be back ✨

This place is awesome! They have late happy hour and I was pleasantly surprised. Good deal and good sushi. You can't beat that!

A wonderful sushi restaurant, they have some creative drink and sushi roll options. The salmon carpaccio is a strong recommendation and I loved the firecracker spicy tuna appetizer.

I was actually on my way to the theater and found out it was closed. So to make the best of the trip out there, I decided why not try out the happy hour at Octopus. Came in and was seated right away. Received a lackluster “Irashaimasen” but that didn’t bother me. Waiter was kind, and as soon as I knew what I wanted, I ordered some tempura, and picked out my specialty roll! The tempura came out first, the texture was deliciously crispy and the flavors were nice! I would definitely recommend the tempura here. The Alaskan roll on the other hand… what a mess! The sushi rice was just stuck together, and some parts of it wouldn’t even stay on the seaweed. I would try to pick up a piece, and it would literally disassemble itself. It was an utterly messy disaster! I felt like I was eating a poke bowl, and almost asked for a spoon to eat my specialty deconstructed roll. I would recommend to those who insist on visiting, to skip the sushi and rolls. Despite having a sushi bar on site, perhaps their specialty is fried items and other things.

Our new go-to place for good sushi. Their new menu is scrumdiddlyumptious. We particularly enjoyed the Truffle Salmon and Yellowtail Zukuri.

Amazing place, delicious food, fair prices, how ever I was never visited by my waitress unless I waved someone down. Like I could have used a 2nd drink but was never checked up on, neither did some of my guest get water refills. Maybe they just didn't think my group could eat and drink so much, but then again it is sushi so who really gets full on that easily. 📔✍ place is nice, restroom is clean.

Food was amazing! The entire staff kept coming over to make sure I didn't need anything. The place is directly across from public parking and other restaurants. Ideal spot would definitely come back again. I got the house hot sake flavored with lychee. I normally don't like sake but this was good especially for beginners drinking it. Next I got the broiled mussels and salmon carpaccio both different but both were delicious. Then I asked the waiter's suggestion for a specialty roll as there are so many to choose from on the menu. She suggested based on my preference the salmon crunch. If you like French's crispy onions you'll love this with those on top plus the spicy mayo.
