Amazing historical society/museum. It has a ton of Oconomowoc historical stories, a huge train set of the city, and exhibits from the past about topics like medicine, military, public service, etc. Really enjoyed my visit! Admission is free but I highly recommend donating so that they can maintain and grow

This past weekend was our family's first time here. My 5 year old and 7 year old absolutely loved all the trains. It was hard to pull them away from that area to see everything else. Lots to look at for the entire family. We will definitely be back soon. My kids are still talking about all the trains.

I had a great time at the Train Fest - and enjoyed the rest of the museum, too.

Would recommend stopping and seeing. Displays are excellent. $5 suggested donation to get in. Well worth the donation!

A rainy day activity if you are in the area. It is geared for locals rather than for visitors trying to get a sense of the area and its place in history.

A great little museum. The model train layout is excellent.

For a smaller town it is rich in history. They have done a wonderful job recreating store fronts, a small train set up with towns from Milwaukee to Madison, and cases filled with interesting items. Please go if your in the area it's well worth it.

Building renovated from an armory. Great historical flavor of Oconomowoc. Memorabilia and books give the story of our cities history. A wonderful recreated street with shops and a working train set of Oconomowoc.
