O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar - American restaurant in Hermitage - 5500 Old Hickory Blvd, USA

Parking was great and got seated right away. We arrived an hour after they opened so it wasn't too busy yet. Some of the food was "ok," and some was really good too. We ordered the patty o'melt, which was delicious. We also ordered the chicken tenders, which I was unhappy with. My tenders were hard and over cooked, so I had to pull everything apart to get the little bit of meat out that wasn't overcooked. Because of the lengthy cooking, the little I got was dry. The fries were good, so there was nothing wrong there. We also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, and it came cold. I've had this before when it was piping hot and the cheese was melted. This one was cold with cheese sprinkled on it, not melted. I was pretty disappointed. For dessert, we had the caramel pie thing, and it was amazing. That was the best part of my meal. Overall, it was ok. I've eaten at this location 3 years ago, and it was amazing, which is why we went back. I hope the next time we go, it will be amazing again.

Food was good but a little over-priced. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. The staff is another story. The host was unpleasant and sloppy. He doesn’t seem to enjoy his job very much. The rest of the staff was slow, lacked enthusiasm, and could best be described as absent for the majority of our visit. Other than that things went well. No wait for a table, plenty of parking, and the rolls were delicious as always.

I have enjoyed the combo app for many years and glad they brought back chicken harvest but miss clam chowder soup. It seems to have gone down in quality over the years but still enjoy going. My favorite location is the bellevue location

One of the few long-running (founded in 1971) restaurant chains started in Nashville w/no doubt, the best rolls in the business! The chix tenders are pretty consistent (crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside). A visit on Wednesday treats you to a slice of free pie, but I'll say being from the South they fall a bit short of the pies my Grandmother, Mother and Aunts put out on the holidays. I can't speak to other locations but there's always a welcoming atmosphere at the Hermitage location which is accompanied by great service. Recently, ordered the fish and chips. I was excited for golden brown, beer-battered crispy fillets, but although it had good flavor the fish was not as crispy as I was hoping. And, the sweet potato fries were soggy. I've had much better at O'Charley’s so I give this dining experience a 3. Must to try: Tenders, Catfish (farm raised, good seasoning and not a strong fish taste), Southern Fried Chix Salad, Nash Hot Chix Sandwich, Prime Rib Steakhouse Burger Missed the Mark: Apple Cobbler - Ordered it last week and the filling and crust were gummy like it was at least a day or two old, zero flakiness. Bad representation of the brand.

Now out of 10 stars I give 9.5 because our waitress was awesome. Her attitude the whole time she was really a sweetheart and a smile goes along way. You never k ow wht people are going thru and she was really naturally nice. I only had 1 issue well me & my wife. A large number of gnats were around and I nuisance. But we made it work. I was skeptical and wanted something different from he norm and seafood and salad was ify for me but I decided to try the salmon salad add 🥒, extra 🧀 and add shredded cheddar 🧀, and xtra croutons 🍞. Toss in their ranch dressing with the Ceasar dressing on the side. Good bread and 🧊 🥶 🧊 ☃️ 💧 water . I'm satisfied!

Overall not a bad meal. The location is good and the food variety is a good selection. I recommend the Fried Chicken Salad and their Chicken tenders. The Asparagus with my Salmon was overcooked and not very good and they need some more wait staff, but I had no problems therefore a 4 star review is appropriate here.

Menyana is the best bartender ever. She has the brightest smile after a long day, a great conversation, and super personable. Even if you’re not hungry at that moment you should stop on in for a drink, and see the greatest bartender ever! O’ Charleys is blessed to have her!!!!!

The server wasn't attentive at all. I would've understood if she had many tables, but she abortion would disappear for 15 minutes or so at a time. The food was fantastic though.
