O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar - American restaurant in Hopkinsville - 4223 Fort Campbell Blvd, USA

We were traveling from Nashville on our way up north, we stopped for a quick lunch. This place was pretty busy and had a waiting time over 30 mins. Decided to sit at the bar, ordered a couple of beers, fish and chips with Charley’s special chicken tenders which comes with two sides. We didn’t have to wait too long for our lunch. The food was good, not wow, but good.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is good at times but when it comes to steaks, iv never known of a place that was so terrible at cooking them to the right rarity. Every-time I go in there I ask for medium well and it comes out well done, or medium rare. The time before last I went in there and my grandfather asked for a medium rare steak and they gave it to him as rare as it gets! Besides the steak though it is a good place to dine in. The waitress’s are nice and keep your drinks and rolls filled and the price isn’t bad for the food.

We ordered 2 Chicken Tenders n Fries and Spinach Artichoke dip. I had to order another Chicken Tender only because the Tenders appeared to be cut into strips. So, is this a "rip off" or "inflation"? Very disappointed in the portion size for $10.99. Just a mile away, Checker's Chicken Tenders are a better "bang for your buck".......

We were there for nearly an hour before we had anything other than drinks and the rolls with butter they give you to start with. Our server was very apologetic about the wait and explained she was very slammed. However, she was only waiting on 4 tables, while there were 10 more empty ones in her section. I would hate to see what it would be like if it ever was truly busy. My dad's drink came from the bar with a piece of dried food stuck in the rim. The food is good once you finally get it. We originally planned on staying for dessert but when we got our meal finally, we decided to eat as fast as we could and get out of there. On the way out, we noticed 3 staff members joking around by the hostess stand, doing nothing. We heard them laughing and joking during our whole meal. Very disappointed in this restaurant.

Bad experience, not busy at all, yet food took an hour. Other tables got seated after us, but were served before us. When the food got here, a side was missing. Asked for the side, they charged extra for it, and grabbed the most raggedly looking fries, I have ever seen. Also, we had to get the floor lead to help us, because our waiter was in the corner on her phone. And when she (the waiter) came to give us those aforementioned fries, she had a major attitude problem. It’s not my fault you got chewed out for not doing your job. Will never come back, and recommend that no one else does as well. Has really gone down hill this year.

Ordered through dash so can't review the service or atmosphere. But the catfish (which i order quite a few times each year) was absolutely inedible. Spit it out. Had dark gray color and tasted horrible. Chicken harvest soup was thin and greasy tasting. Only thing decent at all was the plain baked potato. But yeah... it's a potato so... not a good dinner tonight.

The burger was delicious. Our server was amazing and right on top of things, not just with our table the her other tables as well. Great job overall!

No wait time, service was quick and professional. Our food arrived at a decent time, and it was hot and delish! The servings were pretty good sized. The restaurant was clean and the service friendly. Would def recommend to others.
