It's a pier! But it's a nice pier. Fun to walk out and look back at the shore or out to sea at all the boats. Watch surfers, people fishing. Great for taking photos and because it's such a long pier it's an excellent way to get in your steps with nice surroundings.
We arrived to the pier in the morning, and there were already a lot of people there. A good place to stop for a couple of hours and then go down to the beach and just stroll along the shore.
The only drawback is that you will see several homeless people and drug addicts on the pier.
Love the beach live in Vegas, so Oceanside has always been one of my favorites. When I was in the Marines, I went to school at Camp Pendleton. So have some good memories in this area. So when I get a chance I will come here with the family.
I have never stopped by Oceanside before but it has very beautiful wide beaches that spread horizontally and the view from the pier is absolutely gorgeous.
It’s almost Xmas season so I see many surfers are enjoying the water.
I can tell Oceanside is one of the old beach town so it’s mixed with old school type of places and updated things.
I recommend it sometime stopping by here between LA ⇄ SD trip.
You can use the coaster train and the train stops one block from the beach. It seems very convenient.
is an absolute must-visit for both locals and tourists. Its lengthy stretch offers not only a haven for fishing enthusiasts but also provides a mesmerizing backdrop for sunset admirers. As the sun descends, the pier becomes a canvas of radiant colors, with the horizon painting a breathtaking tableau of golds, pinks, and purples. The gentle lull of the waves and the silhouette of the pier against the setting sun make it a memorable and calming experience. It’s not just a pier, but a sanctuary for moments of reflection and appreciation of nature’s beauty. Highly recommended for a tranquil evening rendezvous.
Beautiful day to take a walk on the pier. The pier is having some work done on the south side railing, and there is a construction fence almost the whole length of the pier on that side. There is still ample room to walk, though. We ate at the Brine Box, which was very good
The pier is an older style, wooden pier, and the wood planks are not perfectly smooth, but still quite easy to walk on, even for people in their later years.
Beautiful sunset!! Nice spot for my daughter to play on the playground, play in the sand and in the water. It was a quick trip there but we both enjoyed the family atmosphere.
Sunny 🌞😎 day and perfect weather, Beautiful sunny and clean beach, this day there was a cycling event, perfect weather. I enjoyed my stay in the place and I recommend it to get out of the routine and change the environment.
Ever since my son joined this academy I noticed he is very enthusiastic to train in jiu-jitsu. Iâm confident Noah will gain good discipline and self defense from the leadership of Professor Doug and Professor Christina, as well as his coaches, Phil
I have stayed at this place two separate times, and both experiences were wonderful. My most recent stay was in the two story room, it was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all very comfortable, the kitchen space was great, there was

Fantastic beer tasting room. They have 20 plus beers on tap and dozens more in bottle. A real locals hang where the crowd is relaxed and conversation is lively. Located right off the 76 across from the Oceanside airport. Parking is a bit limited.
