Be advised there is NO AIR-CONDITIONING in any room, this would be fine if you’re on the side facing away from the morning sun…and have breeze if not you’re going to really not be comfortable. It was a miserable experience trying to get good sleep. And it’s a shame because this place has so much potential with location and what it could be. Also the curtains on the windows are a joke… and don’t block light worth anything.
You can only do so much with an old apartment complex. Our room was very dated, but there was hot water, the towels and sheets were clean and the kitchen was very adequate. It was a very busy weekend, so the parking was horrible! But the location is awesome! The grounds and the pool are very nice.
This hotel is GORGEOUS. I do not understand the negative reviews I read on here. I was very nervous about our trip - but my breath was completely taken away by our very first step into our suite. We stayed in the 2 bedroom deluxe suite - 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen with dining table, spacious living room with TV and fireplace, and gorgeous balcony with table and four chairs. We sat on our balcony often and in the dawn/dusk periods, we could often watch dolphins and seals frolic in the harbor.
There is NO AIR CONDITIONING, so keep that in mind. All the windows open well, there is a gorgeous sea breeze, and there were three very nice, large fans provided that was plenty to keep us comfortable. Evenings are quite cool - we were there June 18-23rd.
HOWEVER - people can be jerks. Because most everyone has all their windows open, you do have to be considerate of your neighbors. People below us had a boom box speaker thing out on their patio, blasting music really loud. I tried to shout down to ask them to turn it down, but it was so loud, they could not hear me and I had to call the desk to have staff come speak with them. These people also smoked marijuana out on their patio - I'm a nurse and know it when I smell it. The resort is supposed to be non-smoking, but I don't know how they can 'police' what is being done outside.
For healthy adults, the swimming beach is a 20 minute walk away. You can drive there, too, of course, and there is free parking on a large lot near "Joe's Crab Shack" - but traffic is always crazy and there is not always a spot in the free lot, and parking in the pay lot is expensive. We walked. If you have small children or fitness problems, you will want to plan to drive.
You do have to pay to park - $15/day - this is typical of any busy resort or large city type hotel I've stayed at. The spots are not huge - I drive a Toyota Highlander and had no problems parking or getting in and out. People with huge monster trucks had issues.
This is not a typical hotel - if we called to ask for something, we got it right away. The latch on our patio door was wonky and it was fixed in ten minutes. We had plenty of towels, so we did not need to ask for more while we were there. The pool and hot tub are salt water and very nice. The whole place was absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable. Our son is a Marine and will be done with his service next summer. We will absolutely be back.
We read reviews AFTER we booked and I have to say, we were a little scared. Our first impression was surprise and delight. We expected the worst and found the BEST. As we searched for dirt, dust, bugs and hair we found a beautiful and immaculate suite. We stayed in room 251. Beautiful views! Lovely room. The staff was professional and kind. This was a weekend reunion between 3 friends that have known each other for over 40 years. We wanted to be comfortable and close to great restaurants, shopping, sealife and the the beach. It was everything we hoped for and more! Big thanks to all. We will absolutely be back and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. One word of caution, it is an older hotel, although beautiful, there are no elevators. If you can't climb stairs this probably isn't the place for you. See you next year Oceanside Marina.
The place is cute but nothing spectacular, the bedroom a double queen deluxe was small and very dark. From the pictures was better.
The service was poor and rude. In particular we had to wait 20 min before the receptionist (a lady in her middle age with dark hair) came for let us checking in. Not only that, when she find out our friends were visiting from Italy and me I was an Italian married to an American man, she told to my husband to be careful because “once I got the green card I’ll leave him and keep the US residency; this is what a lot of women from Europe are doing”. Well, never in my life I found a person who work in the hospitality business so racist and rude! This is beyond being unprofessional.
I do not recommend this place unless you are a white American and not a tourist from other countries (be aware!).
It is a small beautiful hotel located in Oceanside. We had amazing time staying there. The service was exceptional, the view from the room was spectacular.
Special gratitude to the General Manager of the hotel Deena.
This Lady knows how to provide an outstanding service to guests. I wish more hotels had Managers like Deena.
If I ever come back to California, this is the place I will be staying.
This place is very clean inside and out! The staff are very friendly. Thank you Monica for taking care of us! We will definitely be returning and telling our friends and family! The scenery and atmosphere is so relaxing. My new home away from home!!
We had a very good experience with this hotel. We had to make a last minute change of hotels and we stumbled upon this one for a good deal. Service was excellent and accommodating. Will be coming back. :)
I have stayed at this place two separate times, and both experiences were wonderful. My most recent stay was in the two story room, it was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all very comfortable, the kitchen space was great, there was
We stayed here for about a month while an insurance claim was being taken care of. We loved the staff and got to know them well. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious and we loved to firepit and pool areas. We stayed in room 123 which I would advise a
Wish they had a room with a hot tub available I would have paid extra. Other than that it was great. Good pricing. Clean rooms. Hot water. Thereâs food down there in the am to purchase. The bottle water is $7 a piece though so bring some before you
Good hotel in a good location. Fairly priced. Found my room unclean and lacking the commonly provided toiletries. What was annoying was that we were forced to leave the lobby while I was trying to eat dinner with my co worker. This felt unprofessiona
Ever since my son joined this academy I noticed he is very enthusiastic to train in jiu-jitsu. Iâm confident Noah will gain good discipline and self defense from the leadership of Professor Doug and Professor Christina, as well as his coaches, Phil

Fantastic beer tasting room. They have 20 plus beers on tap and dozens more in bottle. A real locals hang where the crowd is relaxed and conversation is lively. Located right off the 76 across from the Oceanside airport. Parking is a bit limited.
Iâm so happy my husband found this place. He was raving about it for months and finally convinced me to check it out. So glad I did. Everyone is so welcoming and theyâre family friendly. Great teachers, community, and amenities as well as great p
