I have been there once a year for the last 5 years. And every time I see something new, I'm never disappointed. A hotel is just wonderful.
Why yes it is an older hotel. But rooms were clean & pool was clean and nice. Perfect location. Can’t beat it for the price! Parking situation can be a little hectic. But we always found a spot to park. Checked in early on a Friday our room wasn’t quite ready. But they let us use the pool before hand & brought us our keys to the room when it was ready. I would stay again.
Just a fantastic place to stay. My little brother got married on the beach this weekend. We had a very large family group, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. There were a couple of hiccups, but they resolved them very quickly, we couldn't have ask for better service or hospitality. It was an amazing stay. Highest commendations to the staff.❤💯
Great Staff, clean rooms. Great ocean view. Quiet establishment without the usually loud partying crowd. Clean pool. Prime location to a load of restaurants and stuff to do that is within walking distance. Reservations through Expedia were super easy and cheap considering this is still prime season. Yes, the building is showing its age, and some character, however, previous owners did not properly provide upkeep. They were greedy and didn't utilize the return on their investment properly. Will I stay again, you may ask? Well... does the wildlife poop in the woods, the answer to both is HECK YEAH! I love this place.
The good: The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean, very affordable; walk out right onto the beach, and the ocean view from the deck was beautiful. The bad: The front desk isn’t manned and the office is often closed. Unless it’s an emergency it can take awhile to get a hold of staff. They are limited on parking and could only issue us one pass (we came from different states and had two cars) which meant one of us had to pay for parking in the next lot (there is no local free parking). The beds are in need of replacing and the rooms and decking could use an overhaul. If you want some place cheap with a view and won’t be in your room much (like us), this is the spot. If you want a comfy bed and amenities, this isn’t for you.
The only upside of this property is that it’s right on the beach. Our room smelled terrible (if you do choose to stay here, I’d recommend bringing your favorite scented candle). The mattresses are old and very uncomfortable, with questionable old bedspreads. The air conditioner was functional but very loud. After the first night I honestly dreaded coming back to the room. It was clean, however, and had a full-size fridge and small kitchen All the hotels in this area are expensive, and if this place was more comfortable it would have been a great value. However, I just can’t recommend it. I was miserable.
Small independently owned motel that isn't part of a huge chain. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The views were amazing! The pool was a good size and had easy access. Nice sitting areas around the property with chairs, tables and large swings. There was a nice walkway to the beach and showers available to rinse off the sand. There isn't an elevator to get to the upstairs rooms but the walk up isn't bad. The steps are wide and plenty of hand rails. They offer standard rooms and suites with full kitchens also. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a good price point for the location and time of year we visited (peak season)
This was a horrible place to go yes it right beside the beach but not worth it. The ceiling was falling down in the bathroom. The toilet didn’t flush. They had wires everywhere. We didn’t even check in the left a note at the door with our name and room number it was u locked with our keys on the bed and the door was wide open. The drink cups were already used and it wasn’t even cleaned from the previous tenants. Over all I would give them a negative review no stars

Great location. And a good deal. The old-school 2nd-floor 2-BR suite was very clean. Nice view of Carolina Lake. Short walk to the beach. No complaints. Would/will do it again. Mary runs a tidy ship.
We stayed at the Seawitch on New Yearâs Eve. The lady running the motel was super friendly. We arrived a couple hours early. While we couldnât check in early since she was short staffed and the room wasnât ready yet, she did allow us to remain
Was greeted the second I walked in the door the hostess was very nice. I took a seat at the bar. I just loved the ambiance of the place and music selection. The bartender recommended his daily special cocktail, and I was glad he did. I started wit
Where my dream started. Itâs all because a boy asked me on a date and he took me to this exact spot 8 years ago. Bbq burgers on the beach and watched a full moon rise! You could drive all the way down back then and it was much cheaper! Fast forward
Loved Carolina Beach. The boardwalk fireworks show was the best I have ever seen in my life. Brits Donuts is a must, and all the shops are great. Super ice cream shops too.
Best run business in the area. Beyond efficient. Small breakfast house with delish home-cooked meals. Fresh and well prepared southern breakfast along with many new school options. Grits were among the best I've ever had. And I eat them several times
This is the place to go as a sushi lover! It was my 20th birthday and we decided to have a birthday dinner here. The fish was so buttery and fresh! I got salmon roe as well as sushi and it was so fresh that it tasted like they had just collected it
The last time I came here was 2018 but I finally came back and itâs just as wonderful! The crab dip is my favorite thing, but everything is delicious! The waitstaff is very friendly and polite and the atmosphere is super cozy and tropical. I will p
Took the family at the end of August for our annual beach trip. First time staying here, but always go to the Carolina Beach Kure Beach area. Great little place for a family vacation. Couldn't have asked for anything more. It's right on the beach. Ac
Yum!! We came here for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Interior it's like a dinner with a beach theme. Given that you can see the marina while eating, the beach then certainly fits. The bacon was perfectly crisp without being overcooked. The bisc
