The room was much smaller than expected with a full sized Murphy bed and a futon couch but all agreed it was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and quiet, the location is excellent. The whole place has a very nice vibe. My friends loved the indoor pool. We really enjoyed it!
Went with my husband, we had a blast. I almost don’t want anyone to know how much we loved it. Got a small suite with the Murphy bed. It was easy to use but could potentially be harder for an older couple. Proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool were the main selling points. We also loved the full sized fridge, stovetop, free beach chairs, and bbqs. About a mile walk to the pier too which was so much better than finding parking.
We stayed for 3 nights. It was just like a studio apartment. All the things your own home has. Dishes, microwave, cooktop, fridge and freezer (real size, not mini) It was so easy to bring leftovers back to the room and heat them up! The ocean was right there and they had lounge chairs to just enjoy it. The room was very clean, and the Murphy bed was a nice touch. We would absolutely stay there again. Staff was super nice, and it was just all around a great place, in a great location. Everything is nearby and we just walked to the pier from the beach (about 20 mins). You wont be sorry, and for the price, its a great little gem in OOB. Thanks again Ocean Walk!
Family upstairs did not put shower curtain inside the tub.All of the water that on their bathroom floor ran through the ceiling into our bathroom, flooding our bathroom floor. Made for a difficult stay water continued to drip all night. Very inconvenient. With the help of Expedia, we did get a refund for leaving early. We just couldn’t tolerate a wet bathroom that was dripping water.
LOVE this beach hotel. Rooms are clean. Service is helpful and friendly. Right on the beach. Quiet. Good parking. Reccomend!
We had such a great time. We were in a Large studio, our children loved it as well. I don't think you can get any closer to the beach, the indoor pool is fantastic, especially if you want to take a break from the sun or get out of the rain. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, everything was relaxing and wonderful. Thank you for making our memories at Old Orchard Beach so special. Hopefully we make it back next year, and if we do, we hope to stay here again!
Not handicap friendly no ramps only steps. No coffee maker as advertised we had to buy a coffee maker for morning coffee. Our outdoor sitting area faced stairs and a weed filled alley. Parking lot is across the road from rooms to drag your luggage and groceries across real hard with a walker. Indoor pool isn't anywhere near rooms or on the same campus to be easily accessible . So we face stairs and a weed filled alley instead of the beach for our outside sitting area. NO side views of beach either. A broken Murphy bed that can't be put up in the middle of the sitting area hard to get to the bathroom or kitchenette with a walker with the bed blocking the walkway. My husband keeps smashing his toes on broken bed thats in the walkway because it is so narrow. Many misleading things offered. I have slept on softer army cots than the mattress and the flat hard pillows went with it for the price they charge you would expect the bedding to be comfortable at least. The couch we were afraid to touch or go near really gross. The best part of the place is the kitchenette . Oh and there is a beach at the other end of the weed filled alley and another building with chairs to sit on . But if you're looking for a decent place to sleep and be comfortable this isn't it! And if you have any disability definitely not this place !!! It has been the worst hotel / motel or air bnb on the east coast experience for us so far the disappointment and struggle to get around in there makes for negative 10 stay but trying to give a little due to personal struggles with my handicaps. We will only rate on misleading information given. Shown in Pictures is our wonderful outdoor sitting view stairs and weeds infront and weeds and road on left and on the right weeds and rooms and the back of another building no beach in sight ! And the other is a pic of my walker not able to fit through to kitchenette or bathroom due to broken bed ! Such a uncomfortable stay.
This hotel is right by the beach. My family and I stayed here for 6 days for part of a vacation. We had so much fun. The best part was we could walk right to the beach in less then a minute. The staff are so nice and so are the people at the hotel. We had a good experience.
Love going to the cafe for coffee and a snack or lunch. Itâs super comfortable and the food is fresh. Today I got a special order of salt bagels and everything bagels! Theyâre homemade from scratch. The bag was steaming with fresh hot bagels, nic
My husband and I stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon before flying to our main destination out of the Portland Jetport nearby. We LOVED it here. The place is so cute, beautiful, and romantic. The rooms were super clean and well kept
Great neighborhood spot to see a show. Just be aware there is very limited parking, so shuttle buses take you from Old Orchard Beach High School to the venue. Arrive early!
Food was good. Staff was friendly. Smoothie was delicious and overall it was a great first time experience. I got the blueberry pancakes (which were huge), 2 eggs and a smoothie. It was all very good. My husband got the Chilaquiles and Pork Belly Sal
