The perfect hotel, friendly staff, accommodating. I was one adult and two small kids trying to get ocean air for allergies. They were so kind. Fit a small mattress on the floor for my son so we could all be together. I love the towels and blankets and toys for the beach and being able to come back and shower and change in their bathrooms after checkout. I loved this hotel. Breakfast was simple and good. Maybe they could incorporate fruit options. Loved and will be back!
My daughters and I just stayed this past weekend here! I am not over exaggerating when I say this was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in! The cleanliness and atmosphere of the whole place was incredible! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs! Highly recommended to anyone! We will definitely be back next summer!
It's now a family tradition to come here. Maverick the dog is very very awesome. The location is great and you can walk to restaurants and the beach. Lots of restaurant choices, lots of gluten free options in them, beautiful views from the porches. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
The view from the porches are enough to make us come back every year. (Wish it was a year-round hotel!) Essential room amenities including central air and a mini fridge! Light breakfast included, with trays to take your goodies to any porch or common area you wish. Great location - two houses from Ocean Pathway and the Beach Church. Not far from the stores and restaurants of Main Street and a short walking distance to Asbury Park. Discounted beach passes are offered as well as use of beach towels and blankets. Use of the bathroom/shower on the day that you check out is available so you can catch some last minute beach time. Staff was always around with a smile as was the house dog, Maverick. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!
The inn is directly across the street. A short walk to downtown Ocean Grove and the Asbury boardwalk. No TV but loads of games. Directly across from a pavilion that has local school and church bands practice. We had Christmas music in August and loved that so much. The Inn is so old but they keep it spotless. The staff is really helpful. Loved the morning coffee and pastries. The only thing was I wish the shower was bigger and had a higher ledge to better prevent water getting out of the shower.
We have stayed our second time and love it. The owners are so nice and treat you like family. Very clean rooms. We will be going back for another stay with our kids. Love the short walk across the road to the ocean. We love that there are little shops and restaurants within walking distance. Love it
Restful time by the shore.|My room (#7) faced the boardwalk. I saw the sunlight on the shore every morning!|There was a balcony with rocking chairs right outside my room. On the day the weather was not friendly, I enjoyed my day on that porch!|The venue is well kept, attended, and frequently cleaned. |Front desk staff are owners. All were very engaging.|Ocean Grove, NJ is a quiet evangelical community. However, Asbury Park is a few steps down the boardwalk. It is very vibrant.|Basically, I recommend this venue wholeheartedly!
This is a fabulous place. Owners are helpful, delightful, locale( across from the beach), ambiance, rocking chairs on the porch, even the satisfying little breakfast are fantastic. Except, those beds…they need to be removed, upgraded. They just aren’t comfortable. And I’ll bet they’ve been there forever. As well, the addition of a small chair in the rooms would be helpful as you can’t sit and read on the bed.||||This place is so perfect, but only a night or two is possible.

Note: As one would expect in Ocean Grove this is a older, restored hotel. Rooms are smaller, lacking in electrical outlets, with in window air conditioning. But the ambience is superb and as hotels in Ocean Grove go- this is a good one.
