I don't know why this place is called Ocean View it's not near the ocean and there is absolutely no View. If you'd like fruit flies flying out of the drain in the bathroom then I suggest going here but if you have a service animal I would not recommend going here because the discriminated against people with service animals. Full of Section 8 Social Service drug addicts and the management is unfriendly unkind and unfriendly
If you need a quick stop or long term this is the place , rooms are clean , staff is cool. Nice prices Need I say more?
I wld put 0 stars on service if I cld. Maintenence guy is lazy and verbally abusive. Have heard him screaming obscenities at residents as well as not doing his job if he doesn't feel like it. Office guy is cool though. He gets the stars.
The WORST, DIRTY and FILTY hotel. The bed had stained sheets and bed spread, dirt, grit or sand in the bed, and also covered and taped up in plastic., My fear “BED BUGS” was very dirty. Talked to the manager he said “He cleans those room himself and everyone has a different opinions on what clean is”. When we asked about being moved to different room or a refund. The manager was absolutely unprofessional, he said, “didn’t care if we stayed or left, it was going to be a $50 upgrade fee” The positives, the room had a fridge and microwave. If you did use the microwave there is nowhere to eat or drink apart from sat on the bed. NO table or desk and chairs, the dresser had the top drawer screwed shut, no bedside lamps nor tables. We plugged our cell phones in for the night they were died the next morning. The manager said “yes, he know the outlets in that room doesn’t work”, no vanity or shelf in the bathroom, so toothbrushes, shaver etc. goes on the bathroom floor. No outlets in the bath room also you can’t fix your hair. We had no washcloths, the towels was so thin you couldn’t get dried off. The owner’s response is 'it's a mote I've been here for 7yrsl! We will never book them again
This inn was recently updated and very clean. King bed was comfy and it was quiet except for the highway noise. Location is convenient to south jersey beaches and boardwalks. There is pool although I didn’t see it or use it. It was good for a quick stay. There were some cigarette burns on the edge of the tub but other than that everything was neat and clean. I would stay their again for a night or two and recommended it to a friend and they stayed there as well and said it was fine.
The room was fine but the manager had no bed side manor at all. He was rude and mean and to strict. He would ask my mom to leave after 8:00 p.m even if she was dropping off food for us to cook, or supplies to clean with ext.. I understand rules and all but that was a little bit over board. We are very unhappy to even have come to this hotel, even with being homeless we wouldn't ever stay here again. We also had lot of issues with the internet , it was horrible. The only good thing was the pool even though it never stayed open from 9 a.m till 6 p.m as it says on the rules and on the pool signs.
Well, I showed up around 9:30 with a friend who helped me out with a room, my friend paid for it and had left. My friend also stated that it was fine for my boyfriends mother to stay with me the night since she drove from South Carolina to help with a difficult situation. The owner came out when she arrived and kicked us all off the property. He was screaming he was name calling and threatening us. We had to leave after 5 minutes. I really hope you don't have this experience with the owner if you are reading this. I am still shaking at how quickly he started screaming and even followed me into the room while I was by myself in a threatening manner. Mind you, I'm a 5 foot 4 girl 105 pounds. He's a bigger guy who can throw his weight around probably 400 pounds and 6 foot something. This is not a professional business owner. I really hope if you stay your experiences will be better.
The positives, the room was modern and spacious with a fridge and microwave. The pool was new and in great condition. The negatives, NO table or desk no chairs,no drawers,no clothes hangers, no bedside lights,no tea/coffee, no vanity or shelf in the bathroom, no soap or shampoo, no pool towels. So toothbrushes shaver etc goes on the bathroom floor, if you do use the microwave there is nowhere to eat or drink apart from sat on the bed. The owners response is 'it's a motel, you don't get these things in New Jersey!
The food is excellent. The people are very nice and accomodating. We arrived early because we came as a group and MOE the lady who welcome us arranged our table right away. We were assured of the table and that was the best of all. The food was exc

This was my first time here and it was such a nice visit! My kids loved the show and the laser song at the end was so cool! The seats are super comfortable and the gift shop is perfect for a little trinket. We will definitely be back!
