Ocean View Beach - Beach in Norfolk - , USA

This is where I go if I want some beach time around here. It’s quite busy on weekends in the summertime though. At low tide, you can find tiny hermit crabs in the water. There are also ghost? fiddler? crabs that run around on the sand. We park in the neighborhood. There are garbage cans along the beach. No bathrooms, though… Oh, and my boyfriend and I got engaged here… so I think it will be my favorite beach for a while… 💕

I love how there is no fuss with parking. Not a lot of people. Relaxing. Took pics here on my bday and enjoyed the scenery.

Beautiful, quant little Beach. There isn't much around so definitely plan ahead. There are public restrooms at one of the parking lots. We didn't find many ahells but there were a multitude of Beautiful rocks to collect. Loved that the beach wasn't crowded, even in May.

Nice location on the Bay. Not too busy during the season, however, it could be kept up better, as there are numerous locals who do not believe in picking up after themselves. A lot of new construction happening. Much remains to be seen.

Beautiful beach visited today for first time walked around and enjoyed the peacefulness of it all!

Always a good time my son loves going there and I love taking him.. especially when we have a free day

We came down to the beach for Memorial Day weekend but it was during a tropical storm. The beach was really nice. It the sand was super nice but there are a lot of broken shells and reeds (maybe, I don’t know what they are called). I was pretty annoyed though because we came to that beach specifically to take my dog who has never been to a beach. I looked all over for info if my dog was allowed and there is conflicting info all over google. We got there and seen a sign that said memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend dogs were only allowed anytime before 10am and I think it was anytime after 8pm. We ended up taking her out anyways because the beach was empty from the storm. We got away with walking as much as we wanted. On our way back toward the lifeguard station we were almost told but we were leaving anyways. It was a nice beach and I’m sure we will be back but they need to be better about having the correct information on their website.

We needed a place to crash for work because it is off-peak or not the season their price is excellent! $60 a night is perfect ! on the beach. It's like I have a little slice of heaven on Earth! The staff was excellent but the office staff was a little moody because I could not understand what they were asking of me at certain times during the conversation, But once I understood, everything is great and my husband and I are still here ONLY one down fall; They DO NOT ALLOW PETS 😞 So unfortunately tomorrow Feb 8 will be our last night.. If you like the water or the beach this would be the perfect day for you!
