I enjoy Ocean State Job lot because they are true 'jobbers'. The reason Christmas Tree went out of business went out of business is because they were jobbers then became retailers. Go #OceanStateJobLot !! Stay true.

Went for 50# sunflower seed - out of stock. Bought 2 different little bags of bird food instead. Had the time to spend looking at food aisles. Wanted hazelnuts, out of luck there too. Saw so many food items that aren't available in the standard grocery stores, picked up a few - always on the lookout for new foods to try. I won't shop anywhere else for pecans or walnuts - best prices. Picked up a pair of shorts, tee shirts for hubby for work all really great for summer all had a logo of some sort. My haul was awesome for $82. It was a good day.

We "discovered" Ocean State Job Lot when we camped at Fisherman's Memorial back in the early 1980s, years before we moved to Rhode Island. What a great idea! Buying up overruns of good products to sell at discounted prices. We've been living here for decades now and still appreciate the helpfulness of OSJL staff. After another good experience today, I want to thank Melissa, Tiago, and Joseph at the 122 Pawtucket store -- along with many other kind staff who have helped us over the years.

Went to job lot all register people looked miserable my husband asked the girl at the register s question she didn't answer him .I said everyone looks unhappy including the girl who moving everyone to different places must of been a manager .other than that the girl explained she's sick .she had pajama bottoms on half shirt .who goes to work like that .why didn't they send her home. They had to know this pajama bottoms .. no one wants to shop at store and see this . especially my husband he's military .he said I would of told come back when your dressed .or stay home your sick .I felt bad for her . being sick sucks .and I understand people use that not to go to work .but she did so .understand this .hope not to see that again

Sales associate put two flower pots on top of each other in thin plastic bags and when driving home both broke. I went back to the store and spoke to the customer service agent and she had the nastiest attitude and was rude and made it seem like it was my fault I have already called their corporate line to complain as there was not one apology issued for their mistake I will no longer shop there and urge you guys not to shop there too.

Hit or miss, just like most of the other ones. I was getting my puppy Blue Buffalo puppy chow there her first 4 months. Now, I haven't seen any at all there in 3 months. If you see something, grab it right away. The one in Warren is about the best one I've ever been in. I could always find what I needed there. I called to complain about something last month and the woman who answered was very rude and hung up before I could finish what I wanted to say. I'll take the drive from N.P. to Warren from now on.
