My family used to stay here frequently a few years ago, but they seem to have gone downhill in service the recently. They were one of the few reliable places I could go to with my dog without being charged for basically another room in pet fees, but I was just informed today that they "don't take dogs no more". Sad to say that I won't be using them anymore. Loved having the kitchenettes where I could actually cook on longer stays, too.
I was put in a room on the second floor, This property is poorly maintained. The location is close to a very nice beach at the end of the street. In a desirable section of Palm Coast, Palm Coast Villas is a way better option for nearly the same rate. Had my stay been free, I would have given more stars.
We stayed here this past weekend after a referral from a friend who had just stayed here the previous weekend (6/2014). There is no elevator, and with a one year old, I thought it would be a huge pain toting all my misc baby gear up "two flights" of stairs...it was no big deal at all! In fact, I liked the exercise! The room was extremely spacious (perfect for two toddlers, pack n play etc.) with two queen beds and a giant bathroom, mini fridge and microwave. It was clean, comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. My husband, who is a little more spoiled than me (he stays in Hilton's and Marriotts frequently for work), wasn't as enthusiastic about it as I was, however. That's ok. :) It's ideal for an affordable weekend get away to the beach, and I can't wait to go back! Beach access literally across the street (driving, or biking distance) and there is a good restaurant and Publix 2 mins. down the road. Best part is, it's 20 mins from St. Augustine!! We can go eat at our favorite restaurant, Osteen's, and then take in the sights of St. Aug, and then head back to our cozy room! The end. 🌴☀🏄
My husband and I get away for the weekend about every other month and St Augustine is a place we love. We just happend to pass this place and stopped to check rates. Rates are higher for Race and Bike weeks but other times seems very fair. The bed was really soft and the room mostly clean except for the dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling and the wall corners. Great places to go to the beach around there and a great boat ramp right up the road for access to the bay. We would stay again.
Honestly Ocean Shore is my monthly home, and im a very happy tenant. Cant beat the price believe me i tried everwhere. Everything included, heat , air , cable. Never mind being minutes to a simple beautiful beach. Mr Mike the manager has been a blessing to my wife and myself. Awsome that the place is dog friendly. Miss Trisha is the house keeper who is friendly and kind, keeps us clean and does a great job. Very happy to call our monthly home.
We would up at this place because we were recommended here by another hotel which was booked. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable rates. When speaking to the owner/manager, he assured us that the rooms would be very clean and they were. This place is older and the accommodations are pretty dated. We had two rooms, one had two queen sized beds, the room I stayed in was more of an efficiency apartment than a hotel room. Both rooms had a mini fridge, coffee maker and hair blower. The efficiency had a sink/stove combination area which was rusty and in pretty poor shape. The rooms were very clean as promised. Owner is a very nice guy.|Problems:|No blankets on the beds:There was a top sheet and the bedspread which had stains on the underside, yuk!|Ice maker: We couldn't find an ice maker and assumed there was none as there were no ice buckets in the rooms|Mildew:The efficiency room had several areas where the roof had obviously leaked, water stains and peeling paint on the ceiling and window valence, very strong mildew odor and the upholstered furniture felt damp. When we put the a/c on the tiled area actually became wet.|I informed the owner of the issues, hopefully he corrects the problems because otherwise this place is a gem.
They're still recovering from the hurricane, ground floor is all new. Good location between St Augustine and Palm Coast. Resident owner is friendly & helpful. I was in #1, new bed, furniture & carpet, nice large BR & LR with full kitchen (& microwave); bring your own pots & plates. Strong A/C. Be careful of the hot water, it is HOT. Curtains don't block out morning sun if you like to sleep late; I used sunshades from my car. Has wifi, but had to sit outside to get a connection. Some traffic noise on A1A but not noticeable in the room.|Publix store a few minutes away, great public beach next to Marineland just a few miles away. Palm Coast now has a great Indian restaurant.
My family has stayed here off and on for years. We love it! The owner is one of the nicest guys you could ever met, the rooms are eclectic and homey, and you are walking distance from a quiet beach. It's a great area and I will be coming back for years to come.

I love the vibe at Vedic Moon! Erica, the owner, has put so much time into creating a wonderful place for holistic wellness, yoga classes and meditation circles. She has an amazing assortment of crystals, tarot cards, and so many other fun things to
We love this gym. We really didnât know much about jujitsu when we signed up our son. Pretty much immediately our son Jeremiah took to jujitsu quickly and really enjoyed it. Ultimately he ended up choosing jujitsu over soccer and started competing.
