Ocean Holiday Motel - Motel in Daytona Beach - 1800 S Atlantic Ave, USA

My only complaint was I didn't have a trash can in my room. The room was clean, person in office was very nice. Rightvaccross the street from beach, convenient store a block away.The hotel is older so it's no Hilton. But it was quiet, safe and I'd definitely stay again.

I loved the owners very nice and helpful. My boyfriend had had open heart surgery probably a week before we arrived in Daytona from upstate New York and he the recover and they're very kind very nice people yes they got a lot of rules no sand in the room extra money but as long as you follow the rules and no me because of the religion I get that they're great people to us and if my significant other hadn't passed away I'd be back there again but thank you for the owners and thank you for the other guests that were there they're very kind people and hopefully one day I can make it back Miss Daytona

Not a Hilton so don't go expecting one. But if your life maintenance, trying to save some money, like helping the mom and pop ran hotels stay open, want spacious rooms, and to be across the street from the ocean. This is your place. It could use alil update here and there but overall it was great place to stay. I was traveling solo so I was a bit nervous, but I felt safe here.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay here. While the rooms are a little outdated as far as style.. our room was INCREDIBLY clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great for us as we were down for bike week, main street was like 5 minutes away. They accommodated our truck, trailer and 2 motorcycles with ease. All our vehicles and property stayed safe and accounted for the duration of our stay. The owner and his lovely wife were so helpful and attentive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will most DEFINITELY be staying here again for biketoberfest and any other time we come to Daytona! Thanks again for the hospitality, you guys are great! 🙂

We stayed before memorial Day me and my husband at room 120 and we woke up itching in the morning with bed bugs biting us.

We needed a room last minute for Biktoberfest and most other places were either sold out or charging an outrageous price. We booked a single bed NS room for 104./night. Just from the reviews I had already read - I didn't expect this to be too wonderful. We ended up with a double bed room, did have a bit of the smoke smell in it. The windows were open when we got in, maybe to air it out a little. One bed was fairly firm (ironically good for support) whereas the other felt more like a trampoline. Luckily we only needed 1 bed, because we did have to steal the pillows off of the other one. The carpet appeared kind of stained - didn't look like a ton of effort was put into vacuuming either. The mini fridge did work very well. The TV had some issues at the top of the screen - bunch of lines going across all the time, but we basically used that for noise at night. The a/c unit did work just fine, we actually switched it off because the room was so cold. The bathroom could use some re-vamping...there was a dead bug and half alive spider in the shower, so guessing it hadn't been used in a while. (The water pressure in the shower worked like a charm though). You can tell the hard water has effected all the chrome, but at least it was all operational. It looked like someone must have gave themselves a hair cut at some point in there - because on the window sill in the bathroom there was a perfectly cut chunk of hair...kind of gives an idea of how good they clean. They could stand to upgrade the tiny thin towels they provide....we didn't even have 2 full size ones to use. For a last minute stay - it worked....at least we had a place to sleep. But, it's worth spending a few extra dollars to go elsewhere. We will plan better next time for sure, doubt we will ever return. The owner was very pleasant, but it's just a run down place. I'm sure the only time the rooms EVER have business is during the big events there, otherwise I'm thinking the place stays pretty vacant. I've read a lot of reviews of people getting bed bugs or lice, we did not have that happen to us.

Doesn't even deserve the time I"ve given. I was only there to, ya know "enjoy my newly acquired company". My accommodation expectations were not set high, nor was I looking to be "entertained" in a 5-star hotel, and foot the bill for just an hour+ but this place managed to fall way below the lowest bar. Dirty, it smelled horrible, garbage under the sink had not been taken since the last guest, and there were no springs in the mattress! I often stay at one of DB's low-end motels when I feel the need, and usually don't want to be seen or heard but I had to say something this time. Peace...👋

Was hesitant at first after reading the reviews regarding bed bugs. They let us check the rooms before and we checked the mattresses, no bed bugs. The room was cleaner than expected. It was Out-dated but it wasn't dirty. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend if you dont have children (no pool) and are on a budget.
