Amazing section of ocean grove to check out . So much character and charming little town. Great stores to purchase gifts at and really clean beach .

Step back in time, to long ago customs and more's,still exist.But now they are allowed air conditioning units.

So cool to see these retro summer tent village.

If you are in for a unique experience you can rent one of these. You do have to request reservations early I believe. If you just walk through that is a really interesting experience. I found that most of the people there were very friendly and willing to talk with you. It's very close to the chapel and close to the beach. Rooms are very small but it's an interesting experience.

A unique place to see on the Jersey shore.

This is a beautiful area adjacent to the Great Auditorium. I wouldn't call this a "tourist attraction," because people live in the tents over the summer, but it is nice to walk through. The tents have been there many years, and they look quite nice. If you come to walk through the town, or attend a concert or a craft fair (both of which are amazing!), this area is close enough to look through. Again, not a tourist area other than to walk by.

I was really impressed with the way that tent city has been kept up in Ocean Grove and the history of what the Methodist church set up with the Great Auditorium. The more interesting part of this history were the CMA gate rules that were in affect until around 1979. My family story reflects on a time back in the 1930s when my father drove into town during the day as a young adult unaware of the Sunday rules as the gates were closed when he tried to leave. The spirituality of that experience I understand changed my father life.
