I finally was able to get down to the Ocean County Library today. I was able to officially obtain a library card. Today, was the first time that I can honestly remember, going in on my own, and just casually seeing all the resources available to use. There was a genuine, kind staff, available for any questions I had. Still trying to figure out this "HOOPLA" app for my Smart T.V. Will have to go down to library after the Halloween Parade this year.

Very unprofessional people working at this public library. They cause a disturbance and then lie about it after they call the local police. Casey, the library employee should be required to take some type of class to ensure she's able to do her job correctly instead of escalating a situation and then lie to the police.

Love spending time here. Staff always helpful and cheerful. I find it easy to reserve books on line and pick them up when I get email they are in.
Shocked to have to pay for parking and the library is enormous so you could spend a week there. The limit for parking was 3 hours in the garage not the street meters. One of the machines would not take dollars, was broken. When I went back to the parking garage there was already a meter cop issuing tickets. Thanks Toms River for using your library as a money TRAP.
Excellent classy big library. 2 beautiful floors with an elevator. Polite & helpful staff.
Has computers also & dvds. The grounds around it are pretty. Green lawns and trees and some resting spots. It even has a clock tower and restaurants.
