Ocean Center - Convention center in Daytona Beach - 101 N Atlantic Ave, USA

Had a volleyball tournament here over a weekend. Crazy packed with 30 courts, but the seating was far better than many of the venues we have been to. Usually hard metal chairs, but here they were padded and comfortable. This was a welcome relief as we spent about 8 to 10 hours a day seated there.

Had the chance to visit the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach this past weekend, for the annual CEO fighting game championship tournament and boy was I impressed! Despite its enormous size, I found it very easy to navigate my way around! The corridors and hallways were wide and very pretty. The grounds were immaculate and the ballrooms were enormous and extremely well designed! Restrooms were super easy to locate and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

This is a spacious convention center with plenty of meeting rooms, an arena, an exhibit hall, and a few ballrooms. It's a relatively handsome facility, although it feels a bit dated. We did not find the meeting rooms to be terribly friendly to presentation hardware like digital projectors. Food service was efficient and of average quality, but the people serving were quite friendly on buffet-style lines and the table service was swift, efficient, and quite friendly. If you do a bit of exploring there is done lovely art and you'll find it is filled with artifacts from its history

Went to Aquashilla. A fun experience with great vendors. Dustin s Fish tanks was awesome. Will definitely attend again.

As far as convention centers we visit for volleyball, this is one of the better ones. Spectator entrance is smooth and easy. They have it down to a science. Nice court set-ups. Nice vendor area as well. Easy access food courts and a bar area for the parents to relax. JVC pits on a nice tournament.

I went to my granddaughters cheer competition. We were there for six hours. The seats were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

We went to see Kat Williams Dark Matter tour, it was a blast!!! My wife and I laughed the entire time he was on stage, simply marvelous!

This is my second visit to the Ocean Center. I attend the Thrive Women's Conference here in October yearly. It is huge! The seats are comfortable. There is an elevator to take you upstairs (in case you don't want to use the stairs). There are lower level restrooms. As well as ones upstairs. I have never seen the entire building. The area where we have the Thrive Women's Conference is a large area downstairs in the main area and right outside the doors leading into the downstairs sitting. When you leave the Ocean Center, you can go out the front or back. There are stairs at the back side of the building that you can take outside also from the top. I love that it is walking distance to hotels, restaurants, and the actual beach. The Ocean Center does have parking across the street as well.
