Ocean Beach Palace Hotel and Suites - Hotel in Fort Lauderdale - 4041 N Ocean Blvd, USA

Let me start by saying that you should not trust every review when you choose to book. I booked this place based on a friends recommendation. After booking, I read a lot of the reviews and instantly regretted it. Upon arrival, the place looks run down, from the outside. There are two buildings and one seems to be better kept than the other. Also, the parking lot needs a lot of work. The lobby is beautiful and well air conditioned. ||I cannot speak for every room, however, ours was 210 in the older building and immaculate. We had a two bedroom suite and it was VERY spacious and VERY clean. Housekeeping needs to be requested when you want it, but it is available. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. No coffee pot. Each bedroom came with air condition that really pumps. The bathroom is tiny but, functional. The lighting in the rooms was not great, especially if you need to get ready. There is also not a lot of drawer space. Other downside to the room, which is not the properties fault , is just the sheer amount of sand that ends up accumulating in there .||There are two pools. One of which goes to 8 feet with a seated edge all around and another that goes to 6 feet. The 8 foot pool has no shade, but plenty of seats. The pool closes at 8, but there are people out there past 8. The 6 foot pool has plenty of shade. There are loungers, cabanas and shaded seats. Pool towels are available in the lobby. Both pools are VERY hot. Both pools also have a variety of lizards/ iguanas that hang out. The resident iguana was named Jimmie by a guest. He will try to eat your food. He can climb tables. AND on occasion he poops in the pool and it looks like human poop. ||The “public” beach is a 20 minute walk down the street. There are no amenities at the beach. On our 4th day, a local showed us how to cut through the hotel across the street. Probably not smiled upon, but if you are not an a**hole, then you can also do this. Beach chairs are available for 5 dollars per day through the hotel lobby or 15 dollars per day at the jetski hut at the other hotel. ||Only cons, in my opinion, are the amount of homeless people that are around the property. They are friendly and do not bother you. There is a Winn Dixie in walking distances as well as a liquor store, McDonald’s, beach store, Dunkin and nail salon. ||For the price, I HIGHLY reccomend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Beach palace Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, and it was an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The pool area was beautiful,

If I can leave a 0 rating I would, but Google will not allow. This is the most disgusting hotel I ever been. I don't understand how they are still operating, the moment I walked in the place smelled like piss and used condoms. I automatically decided to cancel my reservations and get a refund and they declined. This place smells and its dirty. You have been warned please DO NOT book with this hotel. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS ITS A LIE! And when you ask for a refund they quickly decline and lie to the bank. Place is per filth! If you love your life do NOT stay here!!!

It was disgusting. We arrived late about midnight, dropped our luggage to the rooms and left to the beach. Upon returning, our rooms were full of COCKROACHES! So many like they were there for many years already. On the bed, on our clothes, on the walls, on the floor, everywhere. Went to lobby to talk about that, to find some solution. I was told: we don’t have another rooms ( but don’t even want another room, just want my money back); your booking is non-refundable, so you can check out now or wait until 9 AM when manager will be back. This is not acceptable service!!! Not acceptable way of hygiene and cleaning! So we just left the hotel around 2-3 am, and booked another one. I am still not sure if someone will return my money back for that! If would be able, will rate this place as 0 stars! Do not recommend anyone staying there!

I stayed here 2 years ago and I liked it. Since then they've upgraded the rooms. The staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is convenient to the beach and other places. You can walk if you like. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms very clean. You can rent beach chairs and towels. I enjoyed my mecation!

Nous avons ete au ocean beach palace lors des vacances familiales, l’emplacement est vraiment très bien! Proche de l’épicerie, proche de la plage, meme un mcdo pas loin pour les enfants! Le circuit en plus nous apporte un peu partout dans lauderdale by the sea! L’hotel est vraiment très bien! Ma chambre etait propre, la clim fonctionnait à merveille. C’etait un peu bruyant le soir mais sans plus. Nous avions acces aux deux piscines du complexe! Je recommande! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour!

Positive: easy parking. check in easy room was remodeled and they did a great job. Negative: no the hotel charged for parking but it is so close to beach but they had covered parking and convienient to get to rooms.

Worse room I ever stayed at and I do a lot of traveling! Me and my girl stayed here cause our flight got delayed and for starters the people that hang around the area let’s just say your car can be broken into at anytime and the have the nerve to charge for parking not only that the the staff are the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with. The room was decent but not clean and it’s a motel not a hotel and it’s not on the beach at all the beach is about a 25 min walk! The manager was even more rude than the desk clerk! I would not waste my money here it is an overpriced motel that stinks!
