Ocean Air Studio Apartments - Motel in New Smyrna Beach - 1161 N Dixie Fwy, USA

Absolutely love it. It's the perfect motel for people on a low budget and looking for a reasonable motel with a reasonable price. It has the nicest owners Fred and Sharon they are always there to make your stay perfect with the two cutest dogs, it offers a beautiful outdoor pool, and comfortable rooms. I recommend this motel it's family owned and prices never change like other chain hotels. Just to let you know there are no coffee pots in the room but next door is a breakfast restaurant tell them your staying at Ocean Air they will give you a free cup of coffee

This is a very clean, nice American owned motel. The owners are great pleasing people. The pool is always so clean and owners are pet loving people. Prices are very reasonable for bike week. We have stayed here several years and can't wait for bike week next year.

Ocean Air is a cute little husband/wife run motel very conveniently located on US 1 in mainland New Smyrna Beach. It is not a dirty, dingy place in a dirty, dingy area. The rooms are average size and fairly well-furnished with older 60's furniture. Our room had 2 double beds, dresser, bureau, table with 2 chairs, TV, clock radio, refrigerator, and wi-fi. The room was clean and was kept that way daily. The bath was standard with a shower, no bath - water pressure was very strong. The pool was also very clean but the steps were incredibly slippery. It could have used a couple of tables and some chairs and an umbrella or two. Keep in mind that the room rate here is at least half that of any other motel/hotel in the immediate vicinity - cheap! In other words, great value for the money especially if you will staying only a night or two. You can't beat it. Our biggest problems were a very noisy a/c (we kept the ceiling fan on) and a lack of outlets to plug in our laptop, phone charger, shaver charger, etc. The room is brightly lit but not set up well for reading - would benefit greatly by a lamp on the table.

We found Ocean Air Motel to be all we expected - Very clean, quite, and affordable. I usually don't sleep very well away from home and was so happy to have a great night's sleep. Icing on the cake at this cute little motel are the owner's and their precious little fur-kids! I can't say enough about the comfort, location, and the overall feeling of being safe and appreciated. Thank you Ocean Air - We will be back!

Very clean, quiet and they accommodate dogs which was a blessing for us. The rooms are very cute, a little dated, but we were interested in a clean comfortable room and we definitely got that!! The owners were also very kind people. We would 100% go back.

We always used to love Staying at Ocean Air. But they had no shampoo and the smallest little pieces of soap I've ever seen for us to use for overnight stay. Prices used to be okay but this time for two adults and two dogs was $95 for a night I guess that's why there's only one other car in the parking lot. I wish management go back to their ways of running the place. But it's always clean. I would hate to see the prices during season or for an event.

Great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and so are their dogs. The motel is an older Route 1 motel which I liked having that nostalgic experience. The rooms are very clean, bed was comfortable too. Prices are great. The diner next door gave us free coffee for being guests at the Ocean Air Motel. I plan on staying there again the next time I'm in NSB.

I stayed one night here with my one year old daughter fleeing a terrible roommate situation. The police actually paid for my stay and escorted me here so I’d be safe. The woman at the front desk refused to let me pay for another night saying she didn’t want me here because she didn’t know why police checked me in which was none of her business. Place smells like mold and booked a week at a nice air bnb for the same price. This lady is going straight to hell.
