Ocean 24 - Motel in Virginia Beach - 2301 Atlantic Ave, USA

Requested oceanfront and got a room facing the street. Called and requested a room facing the water, was charged an extra $80.00 had to wait until after pm for someone to come. Tried to make us stay at the front. Racially profiled us because the room facing the ocean were very nice and no one was back there were of color at all. I cleaned the room very well to let him see not everyone will destroy the room. Will never stay there again.

We had a blast here during the pride crawl weekend! Rooms were clean, staffing was amazing! We paid an extra few dollars to have our drive did in training but she'll tell you it was worth it for a room on the beach front with an awesome deck to chill on!

My family and I made a very last minute direct reservation the day before and it went really smooth. Upon arrival I was greeted kindly as Raj held the door open. I was aware that the parking structure was for offloading and I was given instructions for where to park during our stay. It's maybe a 3 min walk back to the hotel. We got into our room and it was just as pictured on Google. We had a great stay! Can't beat the location and price when you have kids and dogs on a last minute reservation! The beach was right there!!

Bad customer service, they charge extra if you want to use their parking spaces and it’s not mentioned when you are doing the booking and also charge for registration once you get there. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, there was a weird small. Don’t feel like the room was worth the price they charged.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I would give this place 0 stars if i could. I had paid in advance for a 2 night stay with my 4 people family, i got there and they wanted my ID and Card for verification, like normal. Next thing you know I’m getting charged another 200, for “other people staying with us”. Which was NOT the case. We had 3 of our friends, from a campground, pick us up, and the manager had seen them pick us up, and charged us for their policy being “no other people at the hotel”. We stated again they were not staying, they were just our ride to the beach so we didn’t have to pay for more parking. Since the hotel doesn’t come with parking. SCAMMERS!!! There were holes all in the walls. The tub looked like there was 10 year old soap dried up in the bottom of it. There was no toilet paper, that we had to buy our own. The BALCONY that was PICTURED, that they stated was in the room, was NOT, it was on the other side of the hotel covered with CAUTION tape. Very unsafe for my 2 year old running around. The manager was the absolute Rudest man I’ve met in my entire life. Tried to fight my boyfriend for asking for a refund. Not to even mention, the blood, hair, and every single thing unplugged when we got there. Check in was at 4 and we couldn’t even check in until 5, and they called me 3 times to even make sure i was coming, and to “move” my car that wasn’t even parked there. He also charged me for “PARKING” and there was a itty bitty parking garage, the manager called at 3 am asking us to move our vehicle or the tow truck would be called. I’d pay you to just not stay here. Don’t give these scamming people another DOLLAR.

Positive: The front desk staff was very friendly and the rooms looked to have been updated recently. Overall decent looking room. Negative: Our mattress smelled like urine. It wasn't until we got back to the hotel (late at night) and peeled back the sheets that we could smell it. We were already unpacked and it was so late that we just threw the sheets back on and slept on top of them. Negative: ""

DO NOT STAY HERE.|The manager charged me double for “extra people” who didn’t even stay. He said he was against the policy but wouldn’t show me the policy. He had me and my 3 year old waiting at the check in counter, for hours. He was the rudest man I’ve ever met, same with the old woman working with him. I’ve asked for a refund and I’ve yet to get it. Ive never felt so taking advantage of in my life. The rooms weren’t even as pictured, maybe 10 years ago. There isn’t beach view, unless you go through all the caution tape and lumber they have blocking off 70% of the hotel. Don’t mention the SMELL. The HOLES in the walls. I felt so unsafe.|THERES NO PAD LOCK ON THE DOOR, so if you have small kids DO NOT STAY HERE. My son had woke up before me and opened the door on his own, since there’s no big lock.|To say I’m unsatisfied and disgusted is to say the LEAST.

DO NOT STAY!!! Management is incredibly rude and aggressive and the room had bedbugs in the couch, roaches in the corner, and smelled like cigarettes. We arrived, checked in, then cancelled and demanded a refund. Management got aggressive and began yelling at me. He got in my face and I thought we were going to physically fight. Manager Raj refused to refund our 401$ deposit stating I was lying but refused to allow me to take him to the room to show him. We were booked for 208. See attached photos. The pic of the couch shows a bedbug carcass found but manager claims this is not in his room.
