A very cute grassy park that is peaceful with a couple picnic tables and several benches. Sit among the planets (the walkway is marked with the solar system along the way). Dog friendly, but on leash (not fenced and not a dog park). Also a book exchange box there. Great for small children to run and play with supervision. No playground equipment. Not that kinda park. Bring a book or a picnic...perfect for a little family or neighborhood get together.
This is a nice little park that is small but still robust and one that you can use to chill and enjoy. That's really all you need. I hope you like it. You can picnic on the grass area if you feel the urge. You can choose to throw a Frisbee as well because there is room. Or bring your hackey sack. That's fun. I think the kids are into that again. This is definitely a great park for you and yours to enjoy if you choose to do so. But you are not allowed to barbecue here, so I'm sorry about that.
It is true that the historic observatory is closed but this is such a beautiful park. There are two entrances to the park on Observatory Ave and Luce Ave. The park is big and has enough room to play soccer, football, catch and more. There is a tiny flower maze on the property and a giant tree that can shade you from the hot sun. Overall, this is a great park for a picnic and family fun.
Very quaint, quiet and rustic. No sidewalks, lush well kept lawn fades naturally into dirt paths. Outside the ring path nature has her way with wild grass, wildflowers and weeds. Kudos to the groundskeepers; Not every inch has to be sterile.
One of its many features is quite novel: NO CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND!
I consider this a feature in that it creates a more contemplative atmosphere where you can listen to the many birds and hear yourself think.
Tucked into a neighborhood, very spacious grass land. Pretty place to relax and be in nature. I reccomend coming in the back, the front has a gate door.
Lotta fun just hanging around, having a picnic
This is one of the cleanest and most dog friendly parks in town, and it is in a great neighborhood. My whole family enjoys this park weekly. I applaud the city of Ukiah the maintenance of this park, and I cannot say enough about the geographical location.
I love the park it also doubles as a dog park for the
I have been coming to this park since the 70s. My daughter has fond memories of playing on the rocket ship! We took my grandkids there recently to break up an all day trip. They had so much fun--they didn't want to leave!
I've been using Ukiah Wireless for more than 10 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service. My interconnect connection is excellent, even though I'm in a remote area that's difficult to reach. Customer service is outstanding. Problems are
From Sacramento, CA just drive up here in ukiah town. I tell you this. Great small town and very respectful community. Holey bagels are delicious. Small market. Chinese food. Boba waffles and if you and families are staying in town or swinging by. De
I had the pleasure of dining at Taco House, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The tacos were hands down the best I've ever had, and the warmth and friendliness of the owner added a delightful touch to the visit. If I were a local, I
Biggest redwoods of Mendocino County! It's off the beaten path, we drove around 50 minutes in from Mendocino city. The large redwood grove is a short quarter mile up a hill, but once you hit the valley it's absolutely gorgeous! There's a loop around

From the first visit to Yokayo Ranch, we knew that this was a special place. Rachel, the owner of Yokayo Ranch, was so warm and down-to-earth, and helped us visualize how each space throughout the ranch could be set up for our wedding weekend. Throug
