They have real ice cream, it has enough butter fats to get hard. I did a blind taste test and you could tell a difference, they also have a turtle pie with chocolate and caramel it was worth the extra couple bucks. Don't even get me started on the egg nod. It is that good! My sample group doesn't like egg nod at all - but we went through a bottle with the quickness. No hgos, no growth hormones it is phenomenal. You can also get at Dieburgs.

I absolutely love your ice cream place! Not only do you serve delicious ice cream, but the added bonus of being able to enjoy a game of chess while savoring my favorite flavors makes it a perfect hangout spot. The combination of creamy treats and strategic fun is a winning move!

The customer service was great! They packaged my ice cream to go in a durable bowl with plenty of napkins and utensils. They had my order ready as soon as I turned the corner in the drive thru. I ended up ordering the vanilla s’mores in a waffle bowl. It was $6.89

Awesome ice cream. Not cheap, but the flavor and quality aren't cheap either. Enjoy taking my daughter and granddaughter here from time to time.

The sundae experience sucked really bad. First time we received a dirty plastic looking bowl, it is different from the picture on the menu. Than the second time the sundae melted really quick, they put warm banana and fruits in the ice cream. I don’t know but something happened with this location, new management?

Ice cream is top quality, BUT the cleanliness of the S. Telegraph Rd location is not up to par. Broken floor tiles and dirty floors plus dangerous wet, moldy sagging ceiling tiles near the restrooms. Not the clean environment it use to be.

This review is based solely on a single ice cream cone from the drive-through, so take it however you would like! I’ve never been to an Oberweis ice cream store, as I don’t live near one, but I passed one today and decided to stop, since I’ve heard good things about their products. The drive-through line went pretty quickly - there were four cars in front of me, and I was through the line and driving away in under five minutes. I got a single scoop of black raspberry chocolate chunk, and it was pretty amazing. I was happy that the chocolate chunks were more fudgy than crunchy, and I really like that they didn’t use artificial colorings or flavorings in this ice cream (per their website). It looks like they had a lot of fun flavors from apple pie to lemon blackberry to caramel espresso, along with all the usual suspects. I will definitely say yes to the next Oberweis store I see!
