Oasis - Resort hotel in Hollywood - 301 Jackson St, USA

We stayed here last week the mold smell was horrible. We will not stay here again. The unit was rough needs a lot of work inside and out. Half the lights in the unit did not work. Drain was broke in bathroom. Light fixtures hanging off walls. Open electrical boxes around the pool.

Horrible rental. Been broken into and all they was screw the door jam back together. The deadbolts don't work. A very funky smell when you walk in. Busted furniture and holes in the drywall. They claim to have pools however these pools are located within other resorts and it's a complete hassle to get to them. I did a two-night reservation I left on the first night because of the noise coming out of the front of my room. When I investigated there were a bunch of people right in front of my room that weren't tourists. It was locals on drugs. I know because I used to live in Hollywood. Worst place I have ever rented in my life and I hope that this particular property will be banned from any rental sites. Absolute garbage!!!

We had a amazing vacation here! Everything is with in walking distance. They have lots of security locks/buzzers so we felt really safe but it’s a safe area anyways. We literally spent a week here with no car and ate out everyday, went kayaking and shopping. Go to Nicks restaurant if you stay here, great food for a great price! So many amazing restaurants! Live music down the road on certain days which was a lot of fun! Beach is right around the corner. Nice warm place pool and place to grill by the pool. House is clean and bed is big and comfortable. We stayed in the Caribbean room with a family of 5. We were worried about people partying or spring breakers but we didn’t run into that issue at all! We even got here early and they let us store our luggage while they cleaned our room and then let us check in early. Fridge, coffee pot and microwave and we had groceries delivered. My kids also enjoyed the sand toys and boogy boards that they owners provided :) will definitely stay again!

Our stay was perfect! We arrived early and they let us store our stuff while they finished cleaning the room. Rooms were clean and the pool was perfect temperature and also very clean. Such nice people also staying there. Everything is with in perfect walking distance. We had a Uber drop us off, we stayed the week then took a Uber back to the air port. We ate, kayaked, shopped all with in walking distance. They have a normal size coffee pot which was a plus and I’m not big on k cups! Mini fridge and microwave. We grilled out back by the pool twice. We had groceries delivered after we arrived. It was a great week and will 100% stay again! I miss it already! Oh also everything was locked down great, so we always felt very safe!

They waited 2 days before booking to tell us the pool was closed due to a part shortage (all other pools in FL were fine.) They refused to refund us. I had booked the place 2 months prior and the pool has been shut down for weeks! The city posted a board of health safety warning sign on the gate entrance. And a trash can was floating in the pool too. Our hot water and wifi didn't work the first night. My daughter had college work she needed internet for but not even that worked! A safe alarm kept going off and it took like 5 hours before they got someone there to fix it. I begged for a refund so we could go somewhere else through text since there are no staff there, only subcontractors. I work in ministry and saved a long time for this vacation that was the first I have had with my daughter who is going through a lot. It has been many years since I have been anywhere. We did our best to enjoy our time there (too windy to swim in ocean or do much. There were wind and riptide alerts every day and no pool to swim in.) Others guests were upset and felt scammed as well. I cried in the bathroom every night because this place was a disaster and I felt so scammed! They are supposed to be Christian owned place, so it is heartbreaking how they treated all of us. They lied and tricked us knowing for weeks about the pool. They have a small warning at the bottom of their add on VRBO that they later added about things could go wrong there and how there could be part shortages but how there are no refunds, yet don't say nothing about their pool being closed down!! They also mentioned to get travel insurance in a way of telling you it isn't their fault if anything is wrong with the place because they consider this bogus warning as a way to cover their behinds. This warning was not there when I booked 2 months prior. Travel insurance may cover this if you turn this place in as a scam...just maybe. Please avoid this awful place. The pictures look beautiful by they pool and that is why all of us chose this place, but the people running it don't care, aren't around and will just take your money without providing what they show in their add. I will never even return to Hollywood because of the horrible memory of this place.

I spent my birthday here in august 2015 as a solo traveller. I felt safe here and the location is the best you can get..walking distance to just about everything. The grounds here are clean and private. You have to use a code to get in which i loved. Once you enter the pool is right there and boy did i take advantage of it...just perfect..i went from beach to pool all day long!!||||I chose the christmas room which is on the lower level. Great for a couple and a single traveller. Its funny even though it wasn't christmas the decor was lovely. At night I'd put on the christmas tree lights and it was so soothing..very calming. Cathy and Paul are excellent host and such great people!! Its very hard nowaday to find great customer service..and these people really do care. It shows in how they take care of there property. You can even wash your clothes as there is a washer and dryer. I will be coming back, i just have to. I know that i don't have to search accomadations when coming to hollywood florida..I know exactly where im staying..Oasis Beach House

We have stayed here several times. It is fantastic. Vintage so not perfect. However, excellent staff, very clean, great vibe, small, friendly community feel. ||All types of rentals from spacious two bed, two bath with sleeper sofa to small less expensive. ||Beautiful pool; heated! 75 steps to the sand! Just off the Broadwalk.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! Small historic house close to the beach with super nice staff. This not a typical rental place. No breakfast, no maid service. It was like staying in a room at a friends. We loved staying here and will definitely come back!
