My husband heard about this restaurant from coworkers. I have never visited Stillwater before, so I decided to give it a go. I ordered a soup of the day, which was tomato basil. It kinda just tasted like pasta sauce, but the toasted bread with it was delicious. Ordered the Chipotle burger, and I thought it was good. The toppings on it were pretty good and fresh. The fries were crispy and tasted good, and the ranch was really nice as well. My husband ordered the other soup and said it was okay. He also ordered Jack Daniel's burger. It was messy for him, so he forked it I like the look of the restaurant inside. Didn't have to wait long to get a table, so that's nice. I will come back for breakfast next time. I probably should have gone with my first instinct today and ordered breakfast instead of a burger.
Great place for breakfast. Food is good and service was exceptional. Would definitely visit again.
Food was delicious. Bloody Mary was alright, loved the little High Life chaser. Cute place.
I love this place. The energy the head Chef Nate has to produce under pressure, and the swift efficiency of the service is beyond reproach. I highly recommend the Corn Beef Hash or Eggs Benedict for breakfast or any burger on the menu for lunch. You will not be disappointed!
My boyfriend, our labradoodle pup, and I visited Cafe Oasis yesterday for their dog friendly patio and all the good reviews of their food! After our visit I can confidently say the reviews were true!! The staff at Cafe Oasis was very accommodating to us and our pup, bringing us large glasses of ice water while we had a short wait for our patio seat, and our pup was greeted with 2 large buckets, one with ice and one with water, it cooled him off right away. The food was very good, we recommend the "Chainsaw Chicken" sandwich! After our visit, we would 100% come back, this is a perfect place for families, couples, and dogs with owners like us, who like to take our fur ball with us everywhere.
I’d give this place a 3.5/5. The cafe is in a somewhat unique location, sitting at the bottom of a “cliff,” but it’s also along a main road, so if you’re sitting outside, expect a lot of noise. The food was decent. I had a Minnesota Melt (on sourdough bread), which I enjoyed, but the rest of the group thought the food was just alright, nothing exceptional. The cheese curds were tasty! While the server was pleasant, the service was slow, especially given that the cafe was not very busy when we were there. Maybe they were understaffed? The food also came out at different times, so some members of the party chose to wait until everyone had their food.
This place is busy but the wait isn’t bad at all. Just know they wait until your entire party is there before seating. It is an open kitchen so you can see what other diners are ordering if you’re unsure on what to order. This place does charge 3.99% when using a credit card (new norm in MN). Parking lot isn’t big and limited handicap parking spot (only 1 or MAYBE 2, not sure if there is more in the back). There are parking on the side of the road, just be careful crossing the street. Our server was very attentive and made sure my coffee cup was never empty. I highly recommend their smoked salmon benedict, my kids don’t normally like trying anything new but they loved it! Would love to go back and try their biscuits and gravy. Their pancakes on the hand was just so so, a lot of people ordered it so maybe it just wasn’t what I’m used to? To me it was more on the drier side and my daughter said hers had a chewy texture.
I thought I had eaten one of the best burgers at a restaurant in Taylor Falls, but now Oasis is my favorite.
Visiting Stillwater from Austin, tx and stumbled across this, it is absolutely incredible. The service is really friendly and attentive, great wine selection too. I had the Italian wedding soup, asparagus and the tagliatelle with scallops. Hands down
Wow, is I can say! This little place is great! It's pretty small on the inside, but the food and service is fantastic! The burger and fries I had were insanely good! The kind of burger that melts in your mouth. My husband had a burger and little
This place is awesome! We came here after having dinner down the road. The cocktails were phenomenal and our waitress was so bubbly and kind! I especially liked how all the cocktails were clearly defined and explained. I am excited to come back to tr
I ordered an order for takeout. Diners in the restaurant were serviced and checked on a few times while I waited. The inside was clean, and set up nicely. I ordered a comfort meal of Sesame Chicken and Pork Fried Rice. The rice was very flavorful,
Fantastic place! The food is great, the staff were friendly, and prices are reasonable. An awesome place for lunch for a stopover in Stillwater. Highly recommend!
Good and various levels of spicy according to what you want. Lots of choices of good food. Staff are very nice and attentive. Great place to eat for families and friends. Nice atmosphere and plenty of seating and space.
This place was great!! We were one of the only people to dine-in, but the experience was wonderful. The restaurant was clean, the food came out so fast, and we had great service even with the small amount of people working. They were even able to acc
Who wouldâve thought Stillwater would have a lively well decorated Tiki Bar?!? If youâre a Tiki enthusiast in MN, craving a decent tiki spot, this is a must visit to fill that void. The drinks are great, service is quick and thereâs a live band
