Oasis Bed & Breakfast - Featured Reviews (23)
This was hands down the best experience ever during a stay away from home. Jeanne and David have established the best experience and it shows through every detail. They treat you like family and we wish we knew about the Oasis a long time ago. The most attentive caring hosts you will ever find. The attention to detail is remarkable. The atmosphere, the rooms, the breakfast, the interactions, all top notch.
Jeanne and Dave are phenomenal! Wonderful rooms, delicious breakfast. They are extremely accommodating.
The very best place to stay....easily worth driving a hundred miles out of your way to be treated to a night there. 1400 miles into a solo motorcycle trip I was blessed with the best night of my trip at the Oasis. Jean and Dave (the owners) are friendly, pleasant and great conversationalists. They've traveled the world and brought back all they're experiences and memorabilia to flesh out a wonderfully unique B&B. Each room is themed for a different country or region. I stayed in "Germany" and was fascinated by the furnishings, art and collectables.
After the best night of sleep I've had in months, I was treated to a breakfast fit for a King....a very pampered King at that. Steak, eggs, fresh fruit, crumb cake, cranberry nut bread toast, juice, and coffee.
I left there with a smile on my face, a very full belly and a desire to stay for week if I could. Top notch experience that I'll never forget.
Great place to stay unbelievable the Inn Keepers are wonderful people who love to talk . The bedrooms are top notch the homemade breakfast was amazing. We are returning gust that plan on coming back again in the future. Jean & David thank you so very much we had a wonderful time.
We stayed at the Oasis B&B last weekend for a getaway without kids/white water rafting adventure at Zoar Valley. Let me tell you...my husband and I have stayed at bed and breakfasts all over the world, and this one, just an hour from our home, was our favorite. Jeanne and Dave are the absolute perfect hosts. They really know how to make someone feel welcome. The inn is decorated beautifully and is so cozy. We stayed in the Africa room, which was just awesome. They provide free beer/wine, and it was great coming back from white water rafting, pouring a glass of wine, and getting in the hot tub in the back yard. ||The breakfasts were INCREDIBLE. Jeanne really is a gourmet chef. The first morning, I devoured the first course, not realizing there was going to be an even larger second course, but it was so good I had to eat the entire thing. The next morning, our breakfast was just as delicious, with nothing the same from the previous morning. || We loved talking to Jeanne and Dave and had a great hour and a half-long conversation on Sunday morning. They are incredibly funny and interesting and have some amazing stories.||This B&B, off the beaten path in Springville, NY, is an absolute gem. Do yourself a favor and go there for a couple of days. You will be happy you did!
I grew up in the area and was back in town to help my parents move. I've driven by many times but never visited. We chose the Oasis wanting more than just a bed to sleep on. We were pleasantly surprised at what was offered. We stayed in the Germany room, which was perfect for the two of us. The common area allowed us to watch Women's Fifa final while enjoying some complimentary snacks and a glass of wine. The common area also had coffee and tea for the next morning. Breakfast was served outside on the porch both days with a variety of items, such as the decadent Oasis bomb and started my day off on the right foot! Our hosts ~ I can't say enough about Jeanne and Dave ~ they were lovely, down to earth and a couple that we really enjoyed connecting with. They really go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our only disappointment would be not having an excuse to stay there again, with having family in the area. We will however be stopping in to say hello next time. Thank you Jeanne and Dave, you both do an amazing job and your BnB shows your love for it!
My time at the Oasis was comfortable due not just to the room (unique theme and comfortable bed), property (loved the tiger lilies) and food (tasty and unique breakfasts) but also because of the lovely owners (Dave and Jeanne). I do agree with a previous review that said that there was too much stuff but that is a nit and actually makes the place feel lived in (a good thing). Springville itself does not have much on offer so you will have to drive to whatever activities you want to do beyond relaxing at the inn.||Overall I highly recommend a stay here.
100% delightful. From the friendly doggo greeting, to the ease of checkout, the entire experience was lovely.
We rented the Mexican room(s) for my birthday, and I want to post EVERY photo, but will try to limit myself. Aside from being artistically whimsical, the rooms were comfy: couch in the sitting room was surprisingly nice on my low back, and the bed—never wanted to get out :)
Breakfast outside, nighttime jacuzzi, air conditioning, an old time Pacwoman machine, and all the art you could soak up. My kind of place from top to bottom.
My only complaint is not getting to meet the cat 😿
I understand why The Oasis is all five
star reviews. Thank you, Jeanne!
Everything was really good. My boyfriend had an omelet bowl but without onions or peppers. They must not have cleaned the grill well enough because you could certainly taste both. Also the soda from the machine had an "off" taste to it. I love this p
This store is amazing still one of the very few that still has hunting equipment and firearms also one of the few that actually has employees that are ready and willing to help which that is very hard to find in department stores these days
