Oakstead Community Clubhouse - Community center in Land O' Lakes - 3038 Oakstead Blvd, USA

This is a very, very nice community clubhouse. I attended for a kiddie birthday party by the pool and it was very nice. We had to check in and get our bracelets to identify us as registered attendees. The attendant was very pleasant. The facility was clean and decorated very lovely for Christmas. They clearly caters to families w/children.

See I like everything about my Clubhouse especially the pool. But it seems like I'm always being targeted and it's not just me but my friends or family that comes there. Every time we go there this one lady that works the front desk always come out to wherever we put our stuff at and pretend to clean the table next to us or fix the chairs next to us and then always telling us about whatever mess we made... which is no mess at all. And even if there was a mess.we are still here. I make sure I clean up before leaving. But they were rude enough to say we don't have maid service here. And when we come there's always a problem. Other people jumping in the pool is fine but when we do it she wants to try and kick us out. She just seem to pay attention a little bit too hard when it comes to our group. We go there every week 2-3 times a week. It never fails that she comes out trying to find something to nag about . Lady with the short pixie hair cut.

I have work with the great folks over at Oakstead community pool for several years. Nancy and Linda have always been wonderful, and very down to earth and easy to speak to.

The only reason for 4 starts is the gym!! You literally can mobe there, it's really funny that they don't developing the gym ! And what really frustrated is that now they building more housing units that will probably add more movement to the clubhouse. Other than the gym and the poor gym's equipments, the staff is so kind and polite and it's amazing clubhouse to spend time with the family and friends, the pool is one of the biggest pool in the area, and the tennis courts in very good shape.

Would be a nice place, but its not.... there are signs everywhere saying no fishing... I lived here last 4 years..... I see someone fishing in conservation (protected wildlife) pounds, every single day... there are even signs that say no fishing or trespassing..... Clearly they dont take wild life serious. I never once seen anyone stop them. Calling police is the only way to fix it. Honestly the worst conservation places they protect nothing.

The majority of this community is ok because of the residents. However, there is a group of HOA board members that are old and archaic. Having a child who wants to be active in the Oakstead community is difficult because the Oakstead HOA and CDD cater to the older demographic. Don't get caught with a mobile basketball hoop, or anything else for that matter, anywhere near the front of YOUR property otherwise they will fine you. Furthermore, don't expect much from the pool, playground, gym, or basketball/tennis courts. Rims are damaged, courts are cracking, they close the pool all the time and have no lifeguards, and the playground is small. Oh, and don't ask for financials to find out where YOUR money is being applied. They don't like that. Best advice I can give is to look elsewhere because until the HOA members are replaced, you're going to live by the standards of a select few rather than an entire community. This is a community of young families living under the scrutiny of a few old-timers.

Very nice place but very rude employees! They yelled at the kids for SITTING on the couches... isn't that what they are made for? I mean would they rather have bad a** kids running around or well behaved kids sitting down like they are supposed to?
