Oaklawn Park - Park in Lafayette - 1000 Jeanne St, USA

Nice quiet park. Put a light in the bathroom and it would be better. It doesn't have the biggest playground but it's right in the neighborhood so it's super convenient for anyone who lives nearby.

Park is very clean and maintained. Even with several other visitors it was quite and peaceful. The doggie pick up bags located around the park are a nice touch.

This park was such a godsend on our long road trip! Lovely grounds, multiple playscapes and a large green space with some soccer goals for running around. Also lots of covered picnic tables. The bathrooms weren't great but definitely recommend!

Perfect...a day at a small secluded park in the center of Lafayettes st streets

I lived in the neighborhood as a child and got to walk to the park and play with my honorary grandkids this week. The park is still kept nice and the equipment is in great shape. A few of the activities are the same but most have been replaced. It is still family oriented without large crowds. The park has been a constant throughout my life and I am grateful for all of the joy that it still brings to the area.

While this is listed as a dog park, owners fail to understand that dogs must be leashed. It is a great place to walk your dog on a leash but most people fail to do so. My dog and I love this park when responsible owners obey the leash law. Unfortunately, responsible dog owners have to succumb to those that refuse to obey the leash law.

Beautiful little park but no enclosed dog area in case you have naughty little doggies like i do

My dog loves going here. It would be five stars if there was a small section completely fenced off to let my dog run without a leash but it's a nice addition to the neighborhood.
