Having worked at Oakland Mall next door in the past - as a security officer - I thought I'd be able to have some high regard for this place after my most recent shopping trip.
The place seems to have depreciated in visibility value since my most recent memory.
Granted, I worked in the area more than five years ago, and five years is a long time to stay relevant through.
But then I wonder, what would people replace the complex with, if it were to be demolished or something? Anyways, that's not my job to care, I guess.
FYI, Oakland Plaza & Oakland Mall are owned by the same developer, AFAIK.
Happened to be looking for an UPS close and found this little hidden plaza gem. The little Plaza had a lot to offer. Two being GameStop and UPS.
Let's start with the parking lot. To put it mildly, it's a bit of a mess. If you're the kind of person who loves a good game of "dodge the pothole," then you'll feel right at home here. But if you're like me and prefer to keep your car in one piece, you might want to be extra careful navigating this lot.
But enough about the parking lot, let's talk about the stores! The selection here is pretty good, with a nice mix of retail and food options. Whether you're in the mood for some new clothes or a quick bite, you're likely to find what you need here.
One thing I particularly like about Oakland Plaza is its proximity to the mall. If you're not finding what you're looking for here, it's just a short walk over to the mall where you'll find even more stores and restaurants.
All in all, Oakland Plaza is a decent shopping destination in Troy, MI. Sure, the parking lot could use a little work, but the stores are nice and there's plenty of variety to keep you entertained. Just don't forget to bring your pothole-dodging skills!
Oakland Plaza has multi stores around so I'm not really sure where did I go but I'm sure it was a great experience I probably spent lots of money
There’s a lot of stores in this plaza. I would recommend others to shop here.
Not a bad place just needs to up there trade in offers
The UPS store was great! Super helpful, polite. Really appreciate the good service!
Another shopping center in an ocean of shopping centers. How you like it depends on the stores that it contains and the stores that you're looking for. This one has some pretty good ones including a Barnes & Noble and a Kohls. A few empty storefronts, but that seems to change every couple of months. Some of the disheveled parking lot has been repaired and/or replaced, so your cars should be fairly safe upon entering and parking.
Large variety of high-end stores and food selections. From the big stores to the niche boutiques, spend , spend, spend. Bring a full wallet cause it will cost you. The general parking lot is free and convenient. We enjoyed the relaxed time with our
I was very nervous to join a CrossFit gym again after a decade of being out of the sport and having a child. However, the coaching staff have been incredible! They have helped me feel comfortable, taught me a lot of valuable insight and made each and
