Good food and nice ambiance, but be prepared to wait. We had made a reservation for 11 am, but had to wait till 11:25 to be seated, 11:35 to place an order, and 12:10 to get our food. We hoped that the food would be worth the wait as the presentation and reviews we had seen online were stellar. But sadly, after waiting, the food arrived to our table at room temperature. I wouldn't blame it on the waitress since she was alone handling everything, but maybe it would be helpful to get a second waiter because looking around, the other tables were also waiting and commenting how slow everything was. There is free parking for one hour in the next door garage but given that service takes a long time, you will have to pay for parking. Otherwise, the ambiance is nice and the flavor of the food decent.
Super adorable establishment near the heart of UVA in Charlottesville that we stumbled upon Saturday morning, while in town for a wedding. Pleasant and courteous staff (both in cafe and coffee bar). The historic character of this home-turned-into-guesthouse/restaurant is quaint and charming as is the outdoor patio. #glasscitydotfoodie
I would say that it is the best breakfast/brunch place in Charlottesville. We discovered it while we lived in Cville years back, and we selected Oakhurst Inn for our stay because of their Cafe. Eggs benedict, French or Avocado toast, and frittata were terrific! Their coffee (Breve?) was tasty and sweet. You can’t go wrong there.
Holy. SMOKES. This place was top notch. It checked every box and exceeded all expectations. Food is so flavorful. Crispy and fluffy biscuits. The most loaded avocado toast you’ve ever eaten. And if you don’t get the hot honey chicken and biscuits, you’ve made a mistake. Atmosphere is homey and inviting. The building is setback in varying greenery and trees. The old wood floors creek when you walk which gives the place a historic feel. Maximum recommendation. 🙌🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️….⭐️
What a great little surprise this cafe is! The first time I stopped in, I got myself a Pimento BLT that was truly divine. This time around, went halfsies with the Farm Sandwich (forgot to take a picture, whoops!) and French Toast. The verdict: the sausage on the sandwich and lemon/blueberry curd on the french toast absolutely made the dishes. The flavor combination for both dishes was so great and half of each portion size was more than enough to fill me for the day. Very tasty food!
This was a random find after all the diners had a long wait time. Location is very pretty. Food quality is really good with good combinations. Menu is limited though.
This cafe may be little but it has big personality! It’s the perfect mix of intimate and warm energy combined with professionalism, a good menu and staff. We loved the greenery and look of the place too!
I’ve had bunch at a lot of places in Charlottesville and this is one of the best (there are only a few). The coffee was served pipping hot and delicious. The food was well prepared and presented. I ordered the Sweet Potato Hash. Each ingredient was perfectly cooked. The sweet potatoes were roasted with caramelized edges. The brussel sprouts were crispy but not burned. The poached eggs was runny and the sausage was well spiced. Excellent brunch location.

Friendly helpful staff, good food, nice venue. It is handicapped accessible with ramps outside and a ramp inside by the ticket counter down to the main floor. Be aware, though, the sidewalks outside the venue are rough and sloped; you might need assi
These workouts are tough, but the atmosphere and support is OUT OF THIS WORLD. These ladies and Carly seriously made me feel immediately part of the group and encouraged me throughout the whole workout. This level of training is what I need to reach
This place specializes in distilling rum and they do it extremely well. Hopefully the owner will read this and correct me but I believe they even have 3 different types of gin based on a rum distillate. This is a small Distillery with all of their p
We returned to Foxfield Inn for first time in three years and were even more impressed than before. I booked a surprise weekend stay for my wife's birthday, along with some family members, and it felt as if we were returning to a family homestead. Su
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Smyrna and I can say without a doubt it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. From start to finish, every aspect of the evening was exceptional. The food of course was delicious!
When we go to stay for a night away, the details are everything, and the Inn at Court Square has absolutely nailed the details! The owners both greeted us and were so welcoming and accommodating. We were a little late for check in, but they still too
Been going here for about 8 years now. Itâs grown quite a bit over the past coupleâs years. We usually come in the summer for peach picking and itâs always a great time. Views are amazing, cider and donuts are delicious. This year we came in
TL;DR: high quality delicious coffee, great vibe, fantastic service. Iâm surprised I didnât find this place sooner. Itâs in the cut so you have to look for it, but man is it worth it. I got a latte with almond milk, and it was incredibly smoot
They unfortunately don't have a drive thru and it seems to be pretty busy majority of the time. We ended up going back at a later time on December 23, 2023 and got blessed with extra bagels! We're definitely coming back for their great service ð
I was really impressed with Al Basha! Very tasty food, probably my new favorite in the Dairy Market. Omar and Hayat were very friendly. I got a Chicken Tikka sandwich, delicious! They even threw in a little Mango juice for free, which was super tasty
