The Inn was adequate. The shower was not the best, and the beds were hard. However it was fine for our purpose We found we were not very far from restaurants and stores if you have a car. The breakfast was minimal, but they did offer fresh fruit...oranges & apples.

It was wonderful! Good value. No, it doesn’t have superficial luxury of 4 or 5 star places but I like a fridge, mic (requested one). Ice and vending machines with $1 pop cans! Beautiful pool, too! 👍
Unfortunately I went there again recently (3/27 to 4/2/24) & had to downgrade the stars I originally gave it. Some rooms are terribly worn out. The shower in my king size bed room barely worked with water gushing out for a bath. I wanted to take a shower & got dribs and drabs of water coming out of the shower head. Also the elevator didn't work twice & was on the 3rd floor with a walker - not good! Dragging my walker down to the 2nd floor was quite the task. Luckily, the elevator worked on the 2nd floor & took me to the 1st floor but I can't stay there again. Other than that, it was OK but again, I cannot go back.
I feel like they’re real stingy with their toilet paper. I would like to not run out of tissue in the middle of the night, but it seems like I don’t get an extra one when I’m running low. Another issue I had was not necessarily the Motel fault, but there was broken glass bottles at the parking lot and my tire had a low leak. I did mention it to the lady. She asked immediately if I had a problem with my tire which I told her I didn’t move the glass. Unfortunately it wasn’t till the next day I noticed I had a slow leak I went to the office and nobody was there and the third issue I had was the room had no microwave and of course they lock their lobby in the middle of the night, so if you’re hungry, you wanna warm up something for yourself good luck the fourth issue I’ve had in three days so I stayed. There was an issue with some one right above me seem like somebody was jumping off the bed running around the whole night. I did ask the front desk on one of the nights if they can address the issue, I am not sure if they did because the noise and bang continued the whole night.
Basic room, fridge, TV, coffee maker. ONE STAR BECAUSE OF THE ASIAN MALE NIGHT MANAGER WHO KICKED OPEN THE DOOR ON ME WHILE I WAS MID DRESSED AT 2AM. I answered the door after some super obnoxious banging, to an Asian male in glasses, khaki pants and a blue sweater. He aggressively starts yelling that my guest and I were too loud. I instinctively angle the door so my partner may get out of bed and get dressed as soon as we heard the loudness and tone of voice. Immediately this man karate kicks open the door out of my hands still yelling while I'm trying to explain his approach is way too aggressive and over the top for a noise complaint especially to a room registered under a female. He threatened police who did in fact show up, and kindly with patience listened to what was the actual problem, which came down to a card game getting too intense lol. Down to the point, seriously, kicking open a door wide open for a noise complaint not even a concern of safety or well being or answering to a cry for help. Idk tonight made us feel violated in a way cause who's this weirdo manager KICKING a door open on 2 females in a hotel room?
I recommend against staying at this hotel. Maybe it was bad luck, but when we were there, it was dirty, short on supplies, and the advertized amenities weren't available. The hot tub featured in the very first photo on the booking site was drained, even though it was perfect weather for it. The carpet in the room was covered in suspicious-looking stains. There wasn't enough toilet paper, just two almost-used-up partial rolls, and the towels were so scratchy you didn't want them to touch you. The bathroom shelf was askew, causing anything you set on it to fall on the floor, and so was the shower rod, making the curtain hang down onto the floor of the tub. The tub/shower diverter didn't work, so that the only way to take a shower was to ask for maintenance to come in and switch it. But then, we were stuck with just a shower and no tub, and as already mentioned, there was no hot tub either. The parking was mostly "compact", but people ignored that and parked anywhere, leading to lots of double parking, so that many spaces were unusable. Breakfast seemed fine, though only 7-9. The bed itself was clean, thank goodness, or we would have left early and gone somewhere else, but it was close. Overall, it was not a good time.
My dad wanted a place close to the hospital to visit my aunt while she did chemo ( which was a 7 minute drive). Definitely would have driven further based on how crappy this hotel was. Unfortunately my dad didn’t listen to me and booked this hotel since the rose bowl parade caused many hotels to be booked out. ||The first room they gave us was dirty & had lots of ants. I cannot believe they thought it was okay to send guests in a room that wasn’t even swept. I’ve been in so many hotels without my family when I go on vacation. Not ONCE have I ever had a hotel not give me a full roll of toilet paper. They left what the last guest left in the restroom which was little to nothing. For as much as we paid you would THINK they would have the decency to at least leave a whole roll of toilet paper. We were in there not even 20 minutes & had to have the cleaning lady spray the crack in the wall for the ants . It killed the ants all in the restroom but occurred again 10 minutes after with more ants. The room was old( not like pictures online), had spots , and holes all around the room. We moved to another room which was upstairs. This room was completely different, cleaner, & smelled nicer. Only to realize they sprayed it so much because in reality it REAKED of we*d. The first day we were smelling it my little brother & I got headaches. I couldn’t even sleep at night because of the smell through the wall. The worst part was the smell got worse and worse everytime we used the restroom. It was coming through the vent & made our entire room so bad. I have never had a scent so strong cause me a migraine & want to get sick. We called the front desk to ask if there was any complaints from the cleaning ladies hoping they knew what room it was. Considering this is a smoke free hotel a worker cleaning the room would have definitely been able to tell which room it was. Manager said no but we explained we couldn’t deal with it anymore. My dad asked him to come smell the room himself to see how terrible it was. The next day after a long day at the hospital visiting my aunt, we got food and went back to the hotel to rest, and eat. I scan my card on the door and it doesn’t turn green. I try to open the door and nothing happens. It is pouring rain, cold, we are tired , and hungry yet we are unable to get into our room. I have my dad go downstairs because my mom, little brother , & I had to use the restroom. Finally, my dad comes up & tells us the lady at the front had to restart our key cards. Please make that make sense!!!! We paid for 4 days why would our key cards not work! ||This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. ||Do yourselves a favor, do not spend money on this hotel, and don’t let these “ good” comments fool you.
we had a fantastic stay here. the time were lovely and the breakfast was good. if I'm ever back in town I will certainly stay here again!
The room was an average 2 star room on my scale, for a "Inn/Motel". I didn't utilize any housekeeping nor take advantage of the Continental style breakfast, however it was available during my visit. Quiet, secluded location in the prime locations of Arcadia/Monrovia location. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shopping ,even healthcare and travel agencies. I do recommend property and decent price for such a prime locations.
If I could give six stars, I would. Best property in the area by far. I am a regular and the staff knows me and spoils me, but everyone gets that service. Rooms/Beds are very comfortable, lobby and bar/restaurant spacious and inviting. Robes, Slipper
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. It's nice they carry some brands you don't find elsewhere. Been given a few samples when they're bringing in new brands and it's made me a regular customer.
So fun. We played Mario Kart battle while sipping delicious local craft brew. Itâs tucked away and a little hard to find, but super worth it. Brewer on site!! My fave was the hazy!!
In the middle of quiet downtown Monrovia, off the main drag Myrtle, is the unassuming Geneâs Grinders. Simple menu, reasonable prices (get the large) and most important for a deli, quality bread. Without good bread youâre animal cobbling togethe
When I tell you my family and I LOVED this place, that is an understatement. Food was 10, Service was 10, Atmosphere was 10. We did a mixture of dine in and take out. We ate the sandwiches while waiting for others because we had a large party. After
Edit: I went back and had a much better experience. Thank you David for helping me find the right fit and giving me helpful information.
