Very good Chinese food in south Pasadena. We’ve been coming here for 25 years. The Atmosphere bright, roomy, clean. They have live seafood tanks and lunch specials. Lots of parking and there free. They can accommodate large party. No reservations needed for under 6 people. If your in this area, it is worth a taste.
Good place for a banquet, lots of round tables. Lunch portions are small enough for single serve.
One of the more traditional Chinese spots in Pasadena. Given the proximity to SG, Alhambra, and Monterey Park, aka 626, I would say Oak Tree delivers in traditional authentic Chinese food.
I've been here multiple times. Service is quick and efficient w nice portions. Food is seasoned and not bland. The menu is pretty extensive (3-4 pgs).
I ordered and dined multiple times. It's been consistent on almost all occasions.
Seems like it draws in the neighborhood local, which I love.
Delicious food, especially the spicy eggplant. Never had fortune cookies quite like these either :)
I’ve been to this place numerous times over the years and it’s one of the best Chinese restaurants in California. Excellent menu selection and great customer service.
Today we ordered the walnut shrimp, crispy chow mein house special, spicy pork chop and Chinese sausage fried rice along with chicken corn soup. The walnut shrimp is always great here and the crispy chow mein is a solid selection. The spicy pork chop is alway delicious when paired with the sausage fried rice. The chicken corn soup has always been a great starter too.
I highly recommend this spot and there’s a lot of items to choose from. Peak times parking can get limited but worth the wait.
Some of the best authentic Chinese food in Los Angeles. Portions are generous, and the lunch deal specifically is a great deal. The eggplant is a must try!
Solid food, primarily classic Cantonese. I've had their green onion oyster, and it was quite good.. and I'm not a big fan of oysters! Their lunch specials are a little pricey, but come with generous portions, soup and rice. When they get busy, service can slow and their free parking lot fills up quickly during peak hours.
My wife and I and including our friends decided to have Chinese meal then our friends tell us about the Chinese restaurants in South Pasadena called the Oak Tree Inn. My wife and I surprised there's a Chinese restaurant in that location we throught it was a motel for years but it was a restaurant. Our friends say they never been there but other family members been there and they say the food is really good. We step in the restaurant we were surprise how nice inside the restaurant is then the hostess show us to the table and hand each of us a menu then we order our drinks.

Lots of good vendors here! Cute area! :) There's plenty full of parking in the neighborhood and if you don't mind a walk looking at beautiful homes! :)
CairnCookies has delicious cookies at their booth. Each cookie is $2.50 and was soft and chewy!
Lovely quiet park to jog through or take your kids. Explore the labyrinth, and find the flower and monarch displays. My kids love to run on the colorful skateboard ramps, and we even saw a gopher! The park is always changing as well. There's a strong
The acting, directing and production quality of every play they do is impressive! The shows are all top notch and it is a much better experience than waiting in a long line to see a typical movie on a Saturday night. Our daughter was invited to be
The sweetest thing in the store isn't the outstanding handmade candies (in spite of them being just luscious and made to perfection) but rather the lady that works in there 𥺠not only the store is clean and extremely inviting, but it smells like h
