We had a great week @ Oak Haven. Matt & Sarah were awesome. Cabins very neat & clean. Well kept. Pizza & ice cream an added plus. Enjoyed the boat watching on the river right out front from our cabin porch. Would recommend in a heart beat.
The Campground was Easily Accessible, clean and well maintained. We were greeted by Matt and Sarah, who were so friendly and hospitable ... Since they lived on the campgrounds it made them available to help in any way we needed. ||The cabin we stayed in was cozy, clean and close to the water with Strong Wi-Fi, and satellite tv on the flat screen. Overall, our experience was relaxing, enjoyable and memorable! I can't wait to go back again next year and stay longer!
This place gets 5 stars across the board! The new owners are awesome. They really make you feel at home with excellent hospitality, nice cabins, great location from town and for fishing. Gotta see for yourself. I don't hand out 5 stars unless it truly deserves it!
Wow! Thanks Matt and family! Someone who cares about making things right. The part that made me say wow is when he took time out of his day to put a trolling motor on a row boat so the kids including my kids could go out and fish the river on their own! You have a million things to do, but Thanks! We will be back! You don’t get that anywhere! Great spot also between several lakes!
We stopped in for pizza when cruising between lakes. Perfect spot to meet friends for a bite to eat along the river. The new owners are fantastic and very accommodating! And the ice cream...😍
Had some trouble with our pontoon and Matt went out of his way to help us out. Could not have been any more accommodating, highly recommend them. Their location is also ideal, right on the Mississippi between two beautiful lakes.
We had engine troubles on our pontoon, Matt spent a good amount of time helping us and wouldn’t accept a penny in return. Great new owners running a great establishment in a beautiful spot, we’ll be sure to head back!
An amazing week during June of 2019 on the Lakes and Mississipi River headwaters at this amazing resort. Owners Mike and Deb have created a wonderful family fun atmosphere for their guests, and they truly care and bend over backwards to make sure everything is right and that you have the best chance to catch fish and have fun. We had cabin 6 with the mesh screen, it was nice to sit on the porch, this is relaxation in nature at it's best. We rented the Pontoon boat and caught and released Pike, Walleye, Rock Bass, countless Perch - we didn't get our Muskie, but we will come back and try again. The pools are clean and enjoyable, and the little extras of the Kids Pizza night and Kids fishing trip are nice details! Also, make sure and try some ice cream - very delicious! We are already planning a return!

We didn't play mini golf cause forgot the baby carrier but! We enjoyed some awesome brews (gotta love lake of the woods!) and food while sitting outside on a gorgeous day! So happy this place is in town. Owners are amazing people too! :)
One of the best mountain biking trail systems in Minnesota. Great location you can often have the place to yourself, there are picnic tables and a pit toilet along with a hand pump for cold water.
