Oak Hammock Resort is a family-owned RV campground nestled on a 15-acre property on beautiful Lake Pierce. We have 18 full-hook up RV spaces and 9 fully-furnished cabins. Fully equipped kitchens and linens are included with cabin rentals. For the RV crowd we offer a spacious bathhouse with separate male and female showers along with a coin laundry for your convenience. There is also a game room with pool table and air hockey for family fun. A nature trail offers a shaded hike through the woods or you could sit in the serenity garden and overlook the lake and all it's beauty.
We are pet-friendly and family friendly for all ages. Beautiful venue for weddings, showers, reunions, or conferences.

What a fabulous place Oak Hammock Resort is! We were there this past weekend for my daughter's wedding. We were able to book enough cabins, the Lake House (beautiful lake view), and the Pond House for the families and bridal party. Cheryl and Bobby were super accommodating, from ice to fire wood to extra large garbage cans as we had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on the grounds. Super family friendly with a game room and a stocked pond to fish from or you can fish at Lake Pierce. It is a quiet and a beautiful area full of wildlife. If you're looking to get away for peace and quiet, do some fishing, or boat on the lake, this is the place for you! Will definitely look into visiting again soon!
My family and friends were in Lake Wales for my wedding and everyone was thrilled that the planner discovered Oak Hammock. We wanted a relaxed atmosphere and the resort delivered in every way: incredible lakefront views, fun games like pool and ping pong, and an awesome fire pit to hang around! The staff were also very professional, prompt, and friendly. Highly recommend!
Oak Hammock Resort has a variety of "stay" experiences from which to choose--an RV park provides parking with hook-ups, or cabins. We rented several cabins for family because we had a Sunday wedding at Bella Cosa. We rented 7 cabins for Friday and Saturday nights and kept some through Monday--each cabin was unique and clean with kitchens or the smallest with smaller stove/fridge. Each cabin had a coffee maker and microwave, with utensils and pots and pans. We held our big meals in The Lake House, and after a casual rehearsal on the lawn (killer view of Lake Pierce), we toasted our bride and groom in the comfort of A/C. We had 28 people in a circle inside the Lake House Cabin. It was a special event, and everyone enjoyed being together in such a fun atmosphere. The teens enjoyed the game room, the adults hung out on the deck. Cheryl and Bobby Hamm brought fire wood for s'mores firepit, delivered the ice bags we purchased--anything we needed, they were there for us. We will definitely be back to this resort to gather, and if you have a wedding at Bella Cosa, consider staying at this family-run resort--some of the cabins could sleep ! We were able to enjoy the family without being at a hotel. AWESOME.
We had a wonderful time at Oak Hammock Resort. Our teenagers liked the game room and outdoor ping pong table. We fished on the catch and release pond, and our arms are sore from catching so many fish. The owners are fantastic and very helpful. The lake view is relaxing, and we enjoyed taking our dog for a walk around the resort. We can't wait to book our next trip.
I can't say enough about this place. It was so well kept and such a wonderful host. I recommend a site backed up to the pond, but all sites are great. We saw so many different birds and even two owls very close. They even have an eagles nest Yall. So much nature and so quiet and peaceful. Don't forget to stop in Cherry Pocket for the best meal you ever had, too!
we stayed here for about 2 weeks. pictures don't do it justice. very peaceful and relaxing. clean bathrooms and laundry. this wonderful amazing place is very well kept and such amazing people run it. us and our kids had a blast fishing and playing games. we will return if in the area. thank yall so much for having a beautiful place for us to stay at in our rv.
Such an awesome place to camp. Bobby & Cheryl are some of the nicest and friendliest people you’ll meet and made sure we were taken care of each day we were there. My boys loved the fishing pond and the dogs loved the dog park. We will definitely be planning another stay here soon!
Small campground that is well maintained. We were in an RV. We arrived after dark and had excellent assistance in getting parked in awkward site by one of the owners. Million dollar view over the hill of Lake Pierce. Very relaxing property. Only con is sites are quite close together. However it was a very peaceful experience for us and recommend it.
Hidden gem alert!! We stopped in for smoothies but ended up getting wraps as well. I ordered the veggie wrap and hubby got one with blackened shrimp. They were packed full of goodness. Very flavorful and messy (sign of a good wrap!). We both ordered
