Oak & Rye - Featured Reviews (1020)
Oak & Rye is a very cozy restaurant in downtown Los Gatos.
Our favorite dishes include their Shaved Brussels Sprouts, Arugula Salad, and their pizzas. We typically order a customized pizza, but this time we ordered the Coach Goni. We love the old-fashioned wood-fired pizza.
Make a reservation online or go there early, as it is very busy.
Went for a friend's birthday so it wasn't my pick. Would not recommend it if you're gluten free. Very few options and they are mostly just omitting the bread/croutons. Also, the menu doesn't list all ingredients in most dishes.
Oak & Rye has the best wood-fired pizza I have found. The thin crust has the perfect amount of char and their flavors are unique and delicious. My perfect meal here is splitting a Commissioner Gordon pizza, the shaved Brussels sprouts salad and charred broccolini, and a Negroni 🤌
Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time, very good texture very good ingredients and flavor, the drinks are also really cool, they have a tim burton themed drink menu, the bartender was super sweet and informative she had really pretty eyebrows.
Oak and Rye never misses. They did start adding forced tips because too many boomers in Los Gatos think restaurant workers don’t deserve to be able to afford housing, but that just keeps the worst kind of customers away anyway so no loss there. If I ran this business, I’d just raise prices of all the menu items to actually cover living wages and get rid of tipping entirely, but I don’t.
Drinks are great and the food is always phenomenal. Service is as good as you could ask for in a vaguely western themed somewhat hipster pizza bar restaurant. Their special events are worth it too if you’re considering going to one. Wine here is good too.
The only somewhat unfortunate thing I can think of is that takeaway usually has an hour+ wait. It’s definitely not your corner pizza shop. I think it’s worth waiting for and worth the price, but plan ahead.
solid spot for cocktails, wine and dinner. Not surprisingly given location the wines by the glass are also a pleasure. The menu is simple, i was a little surprised when i got wagyu rib eye when the description on the menu said “steak” but my bad for not asking… it was good thing a bit fatty for my liking. my least favorite part is the interior is a bit more diner/casual than i would prefer and initially the service was slow but it improved.
Everything’s is good in this place : food, drinks, service. Pizza is amazing ! Sale was excelente. Arancinies excellent. They have an excellent way to bring you a glass of wine you can ask for 10 onz or 16onz and the piece is really good. The patio is amazing. And the are rely like d with dogs.
Woah! Their pizza was delicious, our table ordered almost all of them and every single one was uniquely crafted. They treated us so well too! Their brunch cocktails were top! Lovely spot! Will def come back!
Best workout I've had in years! I tried an XFIT class 6 months ago and I've been hooked ever since. I was a complete beginner, with no previous kickboxing or martial arts experience and the coaches were amazing at brining me up to speed. All of the c
