Nuvolari's - Italian restaurant in Mandeville - 246 Girod St, USA

I wish I could give Nuvolari’s a 6 star review. Our waiter was wonderful. Me and my partner went for our first anniversary and they gave us complimentary soup and champagne, and a keepsake menu. We got the crab cakes which were delicious. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and I still think about it months later. The portion sizes were fair and I ate leftovers twice. I asked for a quiet table when making my reservations and we got a very nice table in the corner of the restaurant which felt very special and private. Thank y’all for making our anniversary so wonderful, and we will be going back again soon!

Food was excellent! It was a pleasure to dine here. We've been here before and enjoyed it but this time was the best.

I'm a little late on this review but wanted to come and say what a wonderful time my family and I had. The greeter was welcoming and had a warm personality, Ms. Tiffany our waitress was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The crab cakes are a must have !!! My husband a the most juicy, tender, and ribeye he's had in awhile. All the food was picture perfect. We a delicious tiramisu for dessert. We were able to box up leftovers for lunch. The management was also very friendly.

Nuvolari's is a pretty cool Northshore spot. I went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and honestly had never heard of it (I'm not from the area). But it is full of locals and regulars and just had a great "in from the cold" kind of vibe, where everyone was having a great evening inside while it was quiet and calm outside. The layout of the place is really cool, kind of divided into three parts, with a great bar separated minimally from the dining room and then the private areas beyond. The food was very good, and I made sure to try some of the other options we had from our set menu. Even with a party our size, everythig went smoothly and there wasn't a complaint to be heard. I think the reason (from what I could tell) was that the whole staff was helping out, bussers were happy to take drink orders and I believe the manager would duck in and lend a hand serving, clearing, and just helping out. It struck me that they seem to be in the business of hospitality (sometimes it feels like staff is just at work! (I know, I've been them before :p)). But like I mentioned, we were there for an event, and didn't pick the place or the menu ourselves, so that wasn't our #1 concern. But the atmosphere, the ambiance, and the positive vibes left an impression on me and my date after all the excitement of the wedding weekend. Cheers!

We had a lovely evening! The food is not going to help your diet… but it was quite tasty and plentiful. I had the veal with lasagna. My wife had the meatballs. Everything was delicious. The staff was helpful and responsive. We had a good time.

Sat down for a delightful meal accompanied by a personable waiter. We were immediately greeted to bread that was just exquisite. Really set the mood for this candle lit night. After great portions of salad and bread we were served our entrees. They were kind enough to offer dessert and we respectfully declined due to the large portions of food. Seriously would go back, truly a 10/10 experience.

Came here for a girls night and we had a waiter named Devon? She was flustered the whole time, cursing, and confusing our food. Food was great but service wasn’t at all. When it came down to the check she told us we couldn’t split check and no one had ever asked her for that before and it would take a hour to separate checks even if we only separated it four ways. Wouldn’t come here again.

Very delicious desserts. We enjoyed a laid back dinner. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet for such a large restaurant. I had the salmon and it was done well, though a tiny bit over done, so be sure to specify if you order. The fettuccine was also exceptional. We loved the Death by Chocolate, Bread pudding and Rum Cake.
