The carousel is a great place to host a birthday party for kids. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The carousel itself is beautifully maintained. There was plenty of space for several tables (12) to have seating for guests to rest or eat.
Cute little place and the carousel horses are beautiful. It costs two bucks per ride. It's never crowded except when there's a bday party or event. The carousel does go very fast and the horses go up and down so I wouldn't recommend it for very young kids unless they are planning on sitting on the sleds. They also have a lovely little garden in front of the carousel house with benches to sit on. There's plenty of parking in front. And this is also next to the Long Island children's museum.
A little slow to get the ride moving (get on last if you have a toddler as the check took a LONG time) but a cool experience.

Attended a birthday party here. They had the beautiful carousel and a few games on the sides for the kids to play. 1.5 party. Sometimes I feel like those are a little rushed but considering what was there it was good.
Carousel at least 50 years old. Restored and working. Great place to host groups for parties.
Such fond memories of this iconic amusement park when it was on Sunrise Highway in Baldwin. Grabbing that brass ring was such an adrenaline rush! Was there about 3 weeks ago with my niece and nephew. My 6 year old nephew, a first-time rider, pulled 7 rings! So happy a piece of Nunley's has been preserved, but missed the Skee-Ball!
Absolutely a great place for kids and grownups that might want to feel like one.
