An Elizabeth City Favorite! My wife is from here and has fond memories of going here as a kid. Such a pleasure to be able to take our kids here 35 years later. Can go wrong with any ice cream pick! Great dipped cones!
Essentially the same as it was decades ago: delicious! Has standard soft-serve ice cream options, milkshakes, and mixes. Just remember to take cash and your visit on a hot summer day will be a treasured memory. Update: Had the hot fudge sundae, holy cow. Incredible.
Delicious! I got a shaved ice cream which is ice cream between two layers of shaved ice (I think it's two layers? It may just be the top layer is shaved ice. By the time I got to the bottom of this massive thing it was too melted to be sure), and the ratio of shaved ice to ice cream is the only thing I didn't enjoy. Took me ages to get to the ice cream. The flavour (Pina Colada shaved ice and vanilla ice cream) was excellent though, and exactly what I needed after a long hot day.
Now if you love soft serve ice cream like I do this is the place. The waffle cones are made fresh here, my favorite. The staff is always friendly. Worth the trip to Elizabeth City.
The staff was great the ice cream was nothing to write home about. The excessive amount of flys was a issue even for out door only eating. I go to lots of ice cream places as destinations on motorcycles rides.
Favorite place to go for ice cream. Sucks it's seasonal but the blue moon Flavor is to die for.
