We googled best steaks in Atlanta and we won!!! One of us has the steak and best steak ever, did not even need additional seasoning of any type. One of us has the chicken pillema and it was also delicious. The staff were great, bartender and the owner. Everyone was the right amount of chatty and it was a great experience. We will be back.
I ordered a $37 steak frites and it was 6 oz of steak. What little steak was there was tasty but we split one entree and had 5 drinks for $167. The "salad" was more like a garnish of 5 pieces of lettuce. Don't waste your money.
Beautiful furnishings in relaxed atmosphere. Shrimp had wonderful creole flavor. New York strip was grilled to perfection. Chicken was great alternative choice. Service was a little slow.
My wife and I who live close by decided to head to Nowak’s this evening. We sat at the bar and at the beginning everything was going well. The bar tender was great and so were the drinks. Then, over the next 20 minutes, about 40 people showed up for a Christmas party, which was fine but they were all at the bar. So, suddenly we are overwhelmed with people beside us and behind us ordering drinks. What started as chill night turned into alot of people in a small space. I’m not sure if they were having dinners but it was way too crowded. We ordered food then cancelled our order because it would have been impossible to eat at the bar with people standing behind you and beside you. So, we left without dinner. A total mismanagement from my perspective. If you are going to have that many people show up, have them in a separate room not invading the space of existing dinners. Will definitely not be back…
My husband surprised me for date night on Thursday and took me here. We didn't have a reservation, but we were able to be seated immediately since it wasn't crowded at all. Although the place calls itself a steakhouse, I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in the cut/quality of my ribeye. It wasn't up to par with other's I've had for less. Not hating at all because it was tasty, and I did eat it. Just to be honest, though, I don't think I'd order steak again. We both felt that the real star that night was the seafood. We started the meal off by being greeted by a delightful man named Erchell. Couldn't have asked for a better person to take care of us. He was so nice and only wanted to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks, Erchell! We put in an order for a couple of delicious cocktails and for the trout bites. Omg, those things felt Iike pillows in your mouth! They were so moist and the batter was really delicious. Absolutely loved them and would highly recommend. We moved on to the main course. Firstly, lemme just say that I LOVED being able to get surf and turf. I ordered the ribeye with scallops on top and the husband ordered Loup de Mer. My scallops couldn't have been pan seared more perfectly, but damn was that Loup De Mer the absolute best thing of the night. The skin was so crispy and that beurre blanc sauce....YUM. Get it when you go. You don't be disappointed (You know, if you like fish and all). We're not big on dessert, but everything Erchell listed off from their menu sounded enticing. We opted out and had one last round of drinks before dipping out. Will definitely be heading back.
From start to finish we had an awesome experience. You can make reservations online, similar to Open Table. Plenty of parking in the area. Unbelievable service. CJ was our waiter. The barbecue shrimp were good, but the mussels were great!! Had the New York Strip and was cooked to perfection. My daughter had the salmon and it too was cooked perfect. They didn't have military discount so they gave me a slice of German Chocolate cake free. We met the owner too. Just a great evening. I recommend this place for impeccable service and great food!! What a menu and we're going back!!!
A couple friends and I popped in on a Sunday evening when we were looking for something different. The manager was friendly enough and asked if we had any questions so we asked her for recommendations. She leaned in and said “you have to go off the menu and have the crabcakes… When we have them they’re…Just so good.” What she failed to mention was that two of them were $70 and silver half-dollar sized. When we politely suggested that she might have mentioned that… She giggled and said “oh but they’re just so good.” The food here is OK but it’s just plain not worth what the proprietors think it is.
We were recommended to try this place out. We got the Brazino and an 8 oz flit. Both were salt bombs. My wife picked at her fish and gave up. The server saw I only had 3-4 bites of the steak and ask what was wrong. She sent it back and of course I got one 'no salt' that was just bland. I didn't want no-salt, just regular seasoning that most steak house do that I have had 200+ steaks. The flip side is the atmosphere and service was great. I told the wife we need to give it one more shot - i liked the place.

I have never been so surprised by a restaurant. This place is totally quiet and unassuming but the food and service here were better than meals I paid 3x for in downtown. Our omelet was exceptionally fresh, a great portion, and piping hot. The pota
