It was a good place to take our grandson who is obsessed with trains. He was excited by the trains outside as soon as we pulled in the parking lot. They have one building with displays. Lots of stuff for adults to read. A couple of interactive things for children. You could walk through the caboose, and look in the backdoor of a restored passenger car. The rest were just to look at from the outside. We drove about an hour to get there. Was it worth it? It was to me to see the look of joy on my grandsons face.

We went for the Santa visit and the kiddos had a good time. The lines were a bit long but the Santa was beyond patient with my kids. The were a difference between the train cars so aim for the front one. The last car left like you were 3rd class.

It was fun for my 3 year old. The cookie and hot chocolate was sooo delicious and it was nice to hear about the history.of the train. You ride for 20 mins and get off to see a museum for an hour enjoy a cookie and hot chocolate and then you can take a pic with Santa in a beautifully decorated train car inside the museum. Then back on the train for 20 minutes return. Parking can be a bit of a bear though. The train seats are a little beat up but these are very old. The rain I was on was originally built im 1914 and it was lovely

This is a great weekend day trip with Kids, young and old. The train ride is smooth and the views and wonderful. The stop at the museum is very neat. It does fill up so get your tickets online or arrive early. The best seats are the loose chairs in the open cars... Even your teenagers might enjoy the day ..

Overall it was a good time but could have been better if they would have seemed to care more. At the depot in the hall there was only one table with arts and crafts for the over 100 kids also not very festive. There was no Christmas tree, no music and several more tables and chairs could be seen in a hallway but nobody seemed to care if they were put out. The train was fine. Every car was different and again no love put into decorating and making it seem very festive. Once at the museum most of your time will be spent in line waiting to see Santa. If you take time to actually look around the museum and do any of the crafts with the kids there is NO TIME to get their cocoa and cookies. They really need to give more time to enjoy what was promised when the tickets were booked. Overall the kids did have a good time though.

Train Exhibit in North Bend. Displays a lot of old restored railway carriages and coaches. They have some miniature railway shows. Playground for kids to keep them occupied while adults enjoy the locomotives and carriages.

Nice ride boarded at the north bend station. Makes stops at the Snoqualmie station, the backside of Snoqualmie falls to take pictures and the museum to walk around for a half hour. Not much of a ride or scenery for 30.00 per person but was alright. No actual outdoor seating like other trains so no way to get away from all the screaming kids or to really enjoy the views and take good pictures of the autumn foliage.

Took the Mothers Day steam ride and and couldn't have had a better time. Thank you so much to all the amazing volunteers that make these incredible windows back in time possible. I highly recommend visiting the museum, donating and visiting for a steam ride.

Spectacular view from the point. Got to see the snowcapped mountains. Even the whole place was completely filled with snow. Some areas were icy. Enough places to park.

My son played a soccer game at the field. The field is in a park in the center of a planned suburb. It's kind of Stepford wife-y but nice. The field is turf. There is another field and two playgrounds. The park is surrounded by trees, many if which h
