Northside RV Resort - RV park in Waxahachie - 200 East Butcher Rd, USA

We just arrived here at the resort and the photos don’t do it justice! It is a beautiful resort park! The grounds are gorgeous, all the sites are so well maintained, the amenities are amazing. A small fishing lake, a jogging path, pool, playground, pickle ball court, gathering area, laundry facilities, and everything is so well maintained, neat and clean, seems brand new. Conveniently located with plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby. There are even separate bathroom and shower facilities at the resort(each bathroom unit has its own separate door to the outside and has a shower and restroom - and let me tell you they are PRISTINE. Very nice and so clean - I’m so impressed! I’ve never seen a campsite bathroom so clean and I’ve seen a lot of campsite bathrooms in my time. Each site has a nice picnic table, some have overhangs next to the RV spot as well. A beautiful facility. Family friendly. Very comfortable, relaxing and welcoming environment here. The word resort in the name definitely applies here! So glad they have longer term stays this is a wonderful spot.

Beautiful campsite! Teresa is a wonderful hard worker! She works hard labor and really deserves a raise! She made our trip full of so much more pleasure! Overall nice place. The amenities need repaired but it wasn’t much of an inconvenience.

This is a quality park. The pride of ownership shows in the condition of the facilities and cleanliness. All utilities worked well and strong Verizon signal. Did not use the park WiFi. Reasonable price. The only reason for not scoring it a 5 is that we are tree people, and not much shade to be had in this new park, and our RV spot had more slope than I would have expected. That said, we would gladly return.

Great place to stay and explore the surrounding area! Right off the interstate and very clean well organized facility. All concrete pads and level as well. Nice walking path around the private pond. Two nice sized dog areas as well. Would definitely stay there again.

We have RV’d all over the country. This park is one of the most well laid out and constructed parks we have stayed at. Not a ton of green space, but this is Texas. The pre-fab canopy’s on the sites are awesome, approach, turning and backing angles were all well thought out. Very modern with nice showers and laundry. There were quite a few long term oil and gas workers staying there with their families, but everyone was friendly and courteous. Three dogs parks, playground and nice pool. It could use a sound fence to block some of the noise from the traffic that races on that stretch of road. Location was convenient for us as we needed to divert from our scheduled plans due to Hurricane Beryl. Word to RV Parks in the south and west….you are missing out by not having a camp store!!! This is the fourth place we have stayed at on this trip that did not have a camp store that sells RV necessities, t shirts, magnets, ice cream, etc. Northside was kind of a you are on your own type of a place, which was fine with us. Talking with some of the long term campers, it sounds like the owner has a good vision of what an RV Park should be but is facing the challenge that a lot of us have of finding the right people to run it and hold others accountable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stopped in for one night. Well manicured park, looks to be a newer park. All facilities were clean. No power drops or surges, spacious sites. We were in a 38 foot motorhome towing a Jeep and did not have to disconnect for the night. The pool is a nice touch in the Texas heat.

This park is by far the cleanest and nicest we've stayed in. we broke down and they were able to meet our needs and keep us in the same spot until our rig was ready to travel. only complaint was the new bathrooms have no place to hang stuff, while taking a shower. But the staff was amazing as always. we will stay here again.

Easy in and out for big rigs. This is a very well thought out park with wide roads, level and spacious spots, full hook ups, common areas, etc. Looks like they are building a pool area as well. Communication via email was nice for check in. The park experience matches what you pay. Pay more and you get a better experience. Only piece of feedback - remove or lower just some of the speed bumps. This is a relatively condensed parked…. But just checking in and finding our spot we drove over 9 speed bumps in our motorhome. Crazy how you can drive over 300 miles with no issues and then get IN the park and lose coffee cups and plates due to speed bumps…
