Northfork Fin & Filet - American restaurant in Woodruff - 11084 WI-70, USA

I stopped in to pic up a take out for my family we had a member in hospital in town. This is a truly outstanding restaurant, the meals we had were so delicious,for starters we had delicious onion strings we had the Maple Glazed Prime Rib tender grilled perfectly with a Maple glaze that match so well with the mouth watering tender beef. Porcupine Meat balls with linguine and a delicious tomato sauce meatballs light so flavorful and the Coquille St. Jacques huge Shrimp and Scallops perfectly cooked delicious fresh mashed potatoes and a wine sauce with mushrooms just delicious are carry out was packed perfectly and we added home made carrot cake to top off an outstanding dinner, Thanks to the Chefs and the staff we will be back we have enjoyed you over the years and know why we missed coming here. We dined on a Sunday night, no wait. The service was wonderful and prompt, great timing on the dishes, did not feel rushed. Our group enjoyed some of the speciality old fashions, duck wantons (these are a must try), stuffed salmon(very rich and flavorful), and steaks. All the dishes were flavorful, and generous portions. Finished with a white chocolate raspberry martini, and a banana cream dessert. A great modern up north restaurant. Would recommend this stop on your next trip to the Northwoods.

Incredible food!!! Stuffed mushrooms were fabulous! I had the prime rib special that came with the outstanding bourbon glaze, my better half had wonderful scallop linguine alfredo which she loved! Sure prices are high, but the service from our fantastic server Angel, combined with the best food we’ve ever eaten, is worth a special occasion visit like our 8th anniversary celebration!

What a fantastic place! GREAT food, excellent service in a casual atmosphere. Went for dinner on 1/15/2024. Steaks, seafood, stuffed mushrooms and outstanding seafood chowder - everything was delicious! We will be back.

What a culinary experience - Talk about fine dining in the Northwoods! The cocktail/wine menu was impressive - many choices on old fashions and moscow mules, plus the wine list was expansive with a gorgeous selection of wines. There were 7 of us and we all ordered different things. Each of us were very satisfied with our meals. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. My only recommendation would be to make a reservation ahead of time as when we tried to walk in a few days prior there was a significant wait. It was definitely worth taking the time to make a reservation at this updated Northwoods supper club. We can’t wait to visit Northfork again!

My husband and I were recommended here and it did not disappoint at alllll!!!! It was wonderful. Such creative drinks which we loved trying and the duck wontons were a huge win!! We had Jason as our bartender on the night of our 1 year anniversary and he made our evening - he was so kind, so welcoming, and made us feel so special!! Thank you so much!!!

Saturday the 16th was the first time ever going to this restaurant. We went for my birthday. We got there early so we sat at the beautiful bar. Now that was a great experience. We were seated at our table at 5:30 which was our reservation time, our server was very friendly. Our problems started after we ordered our food which we waited 45 minutes for. They were very busy, but this was crazy waiting this long, on top of that our steaks and potatoes were served ICE COLD!! Seriously we couldn't even eat them, my fiancee ate his scallops luke warm YUCK! But for the first time ever he took one bite of his prime rib & wouldn't eat it it was so cold, I had an ice cold tenderloin that I couldn't eat either! If we had sent them back they would have been over cooked, if we opted for fresh made new ones we would have had to wait who knows how long for them. So we opted to not eat our meals at all & leave. With this kind of experience I'm not sure I would go back again or recommend this restaurant...So very disappointed, especially since our bill was over $130...

This place, where do I start, food was out of this world good (fish fry, it wasn't your regular ole fish fry) brandy ole fashion crushed cherry may have been best drink I've ever had so far, the service was superb and the atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Not something I was expecting in Woodruff.
