The place is Ocean Front beautiful condo would stay here again. Cons: No working lights on the stairs leading outside. Also ac was acting up. Looked very out dated.

We always like coming to this beach. Especially seems how they have free parking down the road. The other parking areas You have to pay for. Which aren't a horrible price if you're going to stay the whole day. They have a ice cream cart on the beach which is nice on a hot day. Not all days though I don't know the hours.

Wonderful beach with an awesome pier. Open to the public, it is less touristy than other beaches, but wonderfully kept. It is making a comeback since Florence hit last year. The main wash house with restrooms,changing rooms, showers, and a little shop is not reopened yet, and might not open again. The beach is beautiful and the water is warm.

Warning! Be sure to look out for a new sign at entrance where people usually park. We haven't been here since the new paid parking law changed to all year apparently.. Stopped by for a quick visit in February 2022 to walk the beach with husband, was here 20 mins and received a 25$ parking violation that goes up to 75$ if you don't pay it with in 15 days! It's my own fault for not thinking to look, but was going off past years of being here for winter and not having to pay for parking..

Fantastic park for the kids, located next door to an shaved ice & ice cream shop. Ample seating options for everything and also has grills, basketball court and a sand volleyball pit!

I'm sure this may have once been a great park, but it is currently just a skeleton of what it once was. This is the first time I've been to this park in a few years, but it's clearly a ghost of what it once was before a hurricane (Florence?). I'm giving it 3 stars because the pirate ship playground is still good. It's in great condition, and it saves the park's entertainment value for kids. There is also a covered area with a few picnic tables and a dock with a gazebo. We didn't walk the small trail loop, but it looked clear to me.

It's so beautiful here. It wasn't over populated and there were areas to fish on the beach. I look forward to going back!
